Two friends and I ordered order 2 Titos cranberries and a beer for $18 This place is a historic landmark with lots of civil war and a World War Two memorabilia. There were a variety of menu options and we tried alot of them. The waitress we had was very attentive to our needs. The place itself had a bar and many drink options, a very relaxed vibe. We tried the calamari, chips and artichoke dip, bbq ribs, bbq chicken, fried chicken wings, bbq chicken wings, cornbread and more. Would recommend and would return.“
“The food and its presentation is always a delight at Brothers. Their ceviche is superb. For the first time, we sampled their salted vanilla home-made ice cream. At Brothers you don't just get a cup of ice cream. Instead you get 3 dollops of ice cream surrounded by blackberries and piped whipped cream. Everything they serve tastes better because of its look.“
“I ordered the porchetta sandwich. It looked better than it tasted. The ciabatta was not a true ciabatta and did not go with the sandwich. The porchetta was just crisped up pork belly and was skimpy on the portion considering the price of the sandwich. The waitress said I can substitute the fries for any of the sides but didn't state there would be an upcharge. There was tiny fine print under the sandwiches that says they'll be an upcharge but it's very easy to overlook. I opted for the warm cabbage side which was very tasty and would order again.My friend ordered the beet salad and that looked amazing. I'd suggest trying that and if I go again I'll order that instead.Lastly, the water glass had lipstick on it. I wasn't wearing any. When I asked for a fresh and clean water glass, there was no acknowledgement about the lipstick, even after I pointed it out. That was unprofessional, in my opinion as a former waitress and bartender.Overall, will I go back? Eventually, yes but it's towards the bottom of the list of things to do.“

“Yummy seafood. Good date night. It was a week day, so not so busy. I was told it was difficult to get in on weekends. I had mussels as an appetizer and some kind of chicken dish (basically chicken piccata) with risotto on the side. The mussels were amazing, and they had like a broth and toast on the side. I had in mind the chicken would be a little different, but my husband thought it was really good. The risotto was creamy and flavorful. I decided I needed a vegetable, so I ordered some broccoli. They cooked it butter with some garlic slivers, and that broccoli was just delicious. I was stuffed after that, and had that broccoli taste for a little while. Amazing.“

“We had a great first experience! Deena and Laura are very attentive and made us feel welcome. It was hard to make a decision with the vast menu, but we both landed on good choices. Here's my Englebert Pumperdink with thick, fresh sliced turkey breast, ham, bacon, onion and tomato. Breaded mushrooms with horseradish sauce are great...and my friend loved his very tender shell/strip steak with an enormous onion ring and a side of mixed sweet potato fries and wedge fries. My favorite though was the side of garlic mash and gravy! Definitely worthy of a trip back to Horsefeathers ☺️“
“The location is down a alley which could be a little creepy if your there for the first time. More creepy when your so close to sleepy hollow ??? But once you get inside, it's a warm and intimate atmosphere. You feel like you were in a clubhouse with friends listening to music. I attended the Cyrus Chestnut concert and it was sold out. The music was amazing and so was the experience. I recommend for a great night of music. The female owner is a little intense but she means well.“

“Tried Hudsons Mill for the first time last weekend and Im sitting here writing this review because I am still shocked how good this place really is. At first it was a little hard to find since it is almost tucked away but don’t let that fool you from the greatness that awaits inside for you. For starters the staff was really friendly from the beginning always laughing and walking around making sure everything is in order. Me and my wife started with the brussel sporuts which are so good along with the sauce that comes on the side... the perfect one two combo!! we both had ipa beers (Motto motto and wrench) they were so great and to top it off our entres which I had the og burger which tasted so fresh and delicious and my wife had the chicken a limon which she could not stop saying how good it was. To top this all off there was a band singing in the background which really set the mood off a great time. Definitely will be returning to Hudsons Mill again!!!“

“The avocado blt was awesome. Pretty good air filtration for smoking a cigar. That can be a big issue with some places. 15$ cut fee at first was questionable but i get it, its nice not to have a bunch of bums coming in and not spending just to smoke. You could also just buy a cigar for a little over 20 and that counts.Love when a bartender can read your body language when you want to have a conversation and when you don't.Will def be coming back.“

We aren’t in Manhattan. $30+ pastas are unacceptable. And the wine is approachable and works, but not enough of an effort given the quality of food. Be too easy to upgrade it and treat their customers.Saying this I go back each month but I must admit other local options might not be as perfect but bring more value. And I have eaten at some of the best Italian restaurants. It’s a nice comfortable yummy place that won’t disappoint. It's the next best thing to sitting down at home for dinner and drinks with family and friends. Austen and her staff are very friendly and care about the service they provide. Often they will even stop over at your seat to make sure everything great. The food is always made fresh to order. I highly recommend trying the Italian chop salad, it is truly an amazing creation. Follow that up with a homemade soup of the day and personal favorite, the penne alla vodka with chicken.“

The place looks basically the same as I remember, very neat, clean and of course with a stellar menu. I observed Carmine (at the bar) preparing some amazing looking cocktails! Great service, well priced, friendly staff and great dishes! One thing I want to point out is how the first forkful of my cold antipasto salad appetizer immediately tasted soooo different. I wasn't expecting fresh, 'sharp' provolone -- no sliced ham here kids. Tonight was an unexpected treat! I will again grab my passport and cross the border into Westchester to spend more time here! “Great dive bar that I stopped at spontaneously after walking around Peekskill. Ordered the French Onion soup and a cheeseburger with fries. Food was great (although I prefer swiss cheese on my F.O.S. and not provolone) and the bartender was very nice, too. It was fun chatting with her. The place was empty (for lunch anyway) but I didn't mind as I don't like crowds. It was me and another guy at the bar. He was annoying but she handled him well. I'm guessing this is more of a nighttime hangout, but I definitely liked the vibe here.“
