“The food has come a long way. At the start the menu was a little odd, but they adjusted and now it is tasty and enjoyable. Love the lobster ravioli. So good. We always start by sharing the chicken pops-just enough spice. There is something for everyone. The burger is also nice if not a little too big (for me),And the beer garden in the summer is so enjoyable! I recommend.“
“Stopped in for lunch with my friend Blake from Black Widow Pest & Wildlife. Food, service, and atmosphere exceeded our expectations. Love a place where the owner visits tables…it’s obvious they care. Wishing them many more years of continuous success. Bob Scribner, Scribner Pest & Wildlife Control.“
“We love the food and the family who runs the business is wonderful! We have been going here for years and have never had a bad meal. Always delicious! Milkshakes are amazing! Love the fried clams, western omelette, hamburgers and fries to name a few! The coleslaw is great too! Had the special today - chicken, bacon, lettuce, tomato ranch on a wrap! Delicious!“
“I personally think that Sycamore Drive-In is a great spot to dine. I don't often go but when I do it is a treat. The steakburger was my first experience with one and it was amazing. I really think that it was a very, very juicy burger. The fries are a great side and you can never go wrong with them. The real star of the show is the vanilla shakes. I could actually talk about their shakes for a few hours. It is unequivocally good to everything else in the restaurant. It is also a good size to price ratio. When me and my whole family dine here we leave full and happy in the car. The atmosphere of the 1950's-80's with arcade machines and vintage looking decor bodes well with the style of food. I really think these are the best burgers and fries in CT and will be a happy customer for years to come.“
“My favorite restaurant in Bethel. The food is always on point, and the staff is awesome. Went for the first time during martini happy hour with friends, and the bartender Grace made me an excellent espresso martini. I've been coming back ever since and she always takes care of me.“
“I was able to call for a table on the way there. Service was a little slow because it was a very busy Saturday night. The food was prepared and tasted very good. The price was also very fairly priced. You get a soup or salad plus vegtable and a starch with dinner. Definitely going to be a regular spot.“
“Love going to Jacqueline's for the atmosphere and the food. Always good food, you know what you are getting. Breakfast, brunch or lunch, the choices are many. Sometimes the wait can be a little long at week ends as they are so busy, but there is always a waitress coming to refill the drinks or the coffee mugs until the food arrives. Love this place and its homely feel. You see all generations in there, and it makes it so special. Like my husband says, it is not hearth shattering, but I have never been disappointed.“
“This place was really great! First time I'd ever been since they changed the name. Went for a fun night out with my nephews fiance. She's not from the area and I'd really hoped to show her some cool spots. This did not disappoint, even on a Tuesday. We got the loaded tots app and green monster pesto pizza. The tots were a but spicy, but nothing that burned our mouth. Just gave us a few hot flashes and some laughs. But really, the food was Excellent. We were there pretty late, saw the kitchen going home. Even as we were the only 2 ppl left, we'd asked the waitress if we were holding her up and she was so sweet and accommodating, never made us feel like we had to leave. I did tip well as a result. Would absolutely return!!!“
“Food and drinks are DELISH!! So many great options! Service was phenomenal as well!! My granddaughter gave it TEN THUMBS UP! For apps I can personally recommend the Spiced Chickpeas, Cauliflower Nuggies, Street Corn and the Mexican Tortilla soup. For those of you that haven't checked out their menu, do yourself a favor and take a few minutes to look at all the cool options! For the Signature dishes we've tried the Bang Bang Shrimp, Pork Carnitas and Korean Fried Chicken~All so tasty and served different ways! You'll have to see for yourself and have it served your way!“
“It's been years since I've been here, surprisingly food and friendly service are the same. I always get the French onion soup and Santa Fe steak wrap, get the picky 2. It's a good deal for $12.49. I remember it in 2007 for $6.49, how times have changed. Pricing is reasonable compared to other places and food remains consistent.“
“Had a surprise birthday gathering for a friend at Bora. We had drinks & appetizers which was great! From the time you stepped into the restaurant the ambience is alluring . The simple but great tasting menu was sleekly designed to have you try almost everything on the menu. The service was great from the bartender to the hostess that waited the tables. I definitely recommend the expresso martini & the blackberry spicy margarita. All of the appetizers were delicious from the calamari to the meatballs to the fried shrimp. The star of the show was the fried truffle rice ball. All of the sauces were also nicely paired & seasoned to perfection.“
