“This place by far is the best burger joint in the Valley. Easily. My favorite is the cutlet sandwich, my mother in law swears by the fried seafood platter, my husband loves the bacon cheeseburgers. We all love the chili dogs and their fries. If you’re a morning person, their bacon egg and cheese is the best I’ve ever had. Plus, Pricila and Sam are so incredibly nice. Highly recommend.“

“Went to pub 67 last night to watch Nashville drive I have to say this is now my favorite place to watch a band, such a great atmosphere. We had 9 people in our group our server was RJ the food drinks and service were top notch! One of the best burgers I have had in a long time, cooked to perfection soft roll and the Cajun tator tots oh my!! Definitely recommend you stop in and give it a shot! We will be back. Started with smoked wings and the shishito peppers, which were out of this world good! Fish and chips with fries done in duck fat, Mac n cheese with short rib was soooo good with the Gouda cheese! Julia was an amazing server! It is difficult to find even a good dining experience these days…we would rate this one as exceptional!“

“Randomly stopped here for my mom’s birthday dinner and so glad we did! We were seated immediately, got our drinks pronto and the server made sure to make my mom feel special on her birthday! We ordered the mushroom pasta (truffle butter is divine), the roasted duck and bolognese. Yummy all around. Service is amazing and definitely contributes the most to this 5 star rating! “The Village Cafe is one of my favorite places for breakfast and lunch. A true hidden treasure in the heart of Ansonia. The quality of the food made here is second to none, and the value for what you pay can't be beat. I always order the house salad with grilled chicken & my co workers love the chicken breakfast burrito, but we have tried pretty much everything on the menu and it is all equally as good. The Village Cafe team is top notch and I am so thankful to have such a wonderful place nearby.“

“Very quiet restaurant in hotel lobby. Service was very friendly and attentive. Slightly overpriced for quality of food. Menu was very limited, with really the option for dinner being a burger, taco, or turkey sandwich. Food was very good and not greasy. However, it was expensive for the quality.“

“I’ve never really written a restaurant review before, but Parker was honestly incredible. The portions were generous, the prices felt very fair, and everything we ordered was great.

What really stood out was the owner coming over and personally taking care of us. We were a group of 16, including 8 kids, which isn’t exactly an easy table, and they handled it effortlessly. Drinks were on point, the music was great, and the whole vibe of the place just works.

Definitely one of those spots you leave already planning your next visit. I just wish they’d open a location on Long Island.“

“The BEST breakfast I have had in this area. My husband and I like to dine at the “mom & pop”, where the locals eat restaurants when we travel. I flew here to bring my grandson back home after his spring break. I was looking for some real breakfast and Monteiro’s hit the spot. Even the coffee tasted great. The atmosphere made you feel at home. I met the owner/cook and enjoyed hearing about the history of the restaurant. The waitress was very attentive and we had great conversation, also.“
