“For the guy that found a fly in his coffee, well I waitress ed for a long time and I’d never charge a customer for a second cup of coffee. I waitressed for 27 yrs in a Westport diner and we never charged a customer forbad food. We would just remake it again or offered something different. Customers a lot different in Westport.“

“This place by far is the best burger joint in the Valley. Easily. My favorite is the cutlet sandwich, my mother in law swears by the fried seafood platter, my husband loves the bacon cheeseburgers. We all love the chili dogs and their fries. If you’re a morning person, their bacon egg and cheese is the best I’ve ever had. Plus, Pricila and Sam are so incredibly nice. Highly recommend.“

“Highly recommend Bobette’s, they offer delivery off their website and have been regularly ordering their soups, salads and sandwiches- the Turkey Cobb Salad is my favorite and I actually crave it weekly, lol and love the Barley Soup. Also get the Chicken Orzo and Chicken, Broccoli and Cavatelli Soup. Also recommend the Steak or Chicken Quesadillas. I have an older parent whose very picky and she never argues over any meals from Bobettes. Each order has been perfect, fresh ingredients and just tastes good.“
“BEST breakfast I've had in a long long time
Perfect bacon and sausage, pancakes cooked in butter, so they have the crispy edges. Empanada was perfectly cooked. Coffee comes with the Rocket Breakfast. Wish I could give more stars. Good ingredients and a good chef really goo a long way towards an amazing meal, and at a really low price.“

“5 ⭐️We went here to celebrate my daughter’s graduation from Sacred Heart University. Their location in Trumbull near the college was over an hour wait. Found out there was a second (original ) location in Stratford, On the phone they told us to come right over, they were waiting for us. When we arrived they welcomed us with open arms, were super friendly and super attentive. They treated my daughter like a super star. The food was delicious and the cocktails were so creative and tasty. Would highly recommend and will definitely return.“

“My parents and I just stumbled upon this restaurant as we were looking for lunch along our trip to Maine. I am glad that we found it as I had never had Haitian food before and was glad to try it here. I got the Poul Nan Sos Meal (Stew Chicken) with the Diri Djon Djon rice. The chicken was crispy and cooked in a delicious and spicysauce. It came with plantains and a spicy cole slaw. The Diri Djon Djon rice had a great texture and flavor, unlike any rice that I have ever had! Definitely recommend this dish and restaurant, we hope to be back in the future.“

“We came for a private party. We had very excellent service. The food came in large portions. It was cooked well. I had the prime rib and for our party it came with potatoes and mixed vegetables. The only reason I did not give five stars is because the dishes had food residue.“

“We tried Bella’s Cafe a few weeks ago and had to go back! The food is incredible (the creamiest, most delicious cheese grits I’ve ever had). “Food was excellent. My friend ordered the sea bass and loved it. I ordered one of the salad/rice bowls and it was delicious. Suzanne was the best waitress ever! She was friendly, funny and gave good recommendations regarding the menu. Ended up having friends show up and none of us were without service when it was needed. She was always there with a smile! Highly recommend this restaurant.“

“I usually Don’t write food reviews but I’m fat sooooo….Ever have those tacos that claim to be a meal but eat like a snack , making you scramble to hit Dunkin afterwords for a coffee and a donut just because it doesn’t do it for you. “Had takeout! The wait time was an hour for pickup, but it was worth the wait. The pride in the dishes was seen and presented beautifully even for takeout. Everything we order was delicious and substantial portions. Who knew Chicken and French Toast works! Shrimp and Grits were great too. Spicy Chicken looked so delicious and heard it was but the name spicy is accurate! Will definitely order again.“
