The Village Cafe is one of my favorite places for breakfast and lunch. A true hidden treasure in the heart of Ansonia.
The quality of the food made here is second to none, and the value for what you pay can't be beat. I always order the house salad with grilled chicken & my co workers love the chicken breakfast burrito, but we have tried pretty much everything on the menu and it is all equally as good. It is highly recommended, and visitors wish they were open on Sundays. Customers find this place to be a gem, with delicious food and a very clean environment. The menu has a nice variety, including pre-made salads and baked goods, and the breakfast wrap is amazing.
