If you are in the Litchfield CT area The Painted Pony Restaurant would be a great spot for lunch or dinner. The staff is great, service was excellent. The menu had any number of choices including steaks, seafood and pasta. The stuffed scallops were tasty and my wife had ravioli and short ribs also excellent. I will start by saying the service was good and everyone loved their meals and cocktails. The band, "The Rakes" were outstanding. Great fun night. Only complaint was the seating on the enclosed porch at sunset. The sun at that time is very intense. Not trying to sound like an Old F, but one in our part has type 1 diabetes and I just had a cataract surgery several days before.
