“We were at the flea market nearby and went for lunch because it was so close. Located in a strip mall, it’s was a cozy, informal, little restaurant with booths and some tables. Service was prompt and courteous, menu had all the classics and nice, simple dinners and black board specials. We had cheeseburger deluxe and pastrami melt. The fries were so good, steak fries that cooked to a deep golden brown. Perfect crunch for the outside, soft and mashed potato like inside. It’s been a while since I had fries that good!!! Burger was hefty, cooked to perfection and juicy. Pastrami melt was tender, with very thinly sliced sauté onions, grilled well on rye. Coleslaw was very good, not too saucy, not to dry. Ice tea was very good.Saw others selections, pot roast with gravy looked so good and a grilled chicken salad that was enormous!Prices were great for the quality and portion sizes. Can’t wait to go back again.“

The new painted pony restaurant is an amazing place for people of all Ages with events all through the week such as trivia on Tuesdays and bands every Saturday this place has it all. The amazing menu is only beat by the amazing food options. The fries are amazing and while there are many pasta dishes the chicken parm in particular is amazing don’t listen to what the haters say the painted pony is an amazing place for you and the whole family. “It was our first time here, and the experience was great. We had dinner on a Sunday, and it wasn't really super busy, in my opinion. Yes, the restaurant was almost full, but it really wasn't loud or squished in like others have mentioned with the seating situation. Our waitress brought out bruschetta to start, and it was great, we ordered their calamari dish, which was quite large, and they brought complimentary mussels to go with that dish. We got our main dishes and of course by that time you were quite full but we ate what we could and wrapped it up. Our reservation was for 7 pm, we left around 10pm. You are fed the entire time, so honestly it doesn't feel like your waiting for your entrees hungry. I will be trying their new location once they move to see if things change.“

“Picked up food here twice. Their pizza is excellent, but it's small inside the restaurant and usually very busy. Not many places to park on the street. There was a line and barely room to stand while picking up food. Probably best to eat here as opposed to pick up.“
“I got take out and while I was in the restaurant waiting the staff appeared to be doing a great job waiting on tables, and the place looked really nice. My takeout order took a reasonable amount of time and was really good. I was working at the railway museum and ordering takeout from here works really well because I can get food fairly quickly between trains.“

“Anthony’s Pizza is a great pizza place in Oakville CT. It has great food and fantastic pizza. There thin crust, crispy, cheese pizza is great. It's price tag is worth it. The wait is not terribly long and to get takeout is a smooth and easy process. The workers at the place is very good. The parking space is always big enough and will always have room to park there. If not you can park on the side of the street safely. I highly suggest Anthony's pizza, I've been there multiple times and it has never disappointed. Many other pizza places I have gone to have been on and off with there pizza but Anthony's pizza has never disappointed me. By far best pizza in town!Parking: The parking lot is good size and if it is full there's parking on the side of the road that you most likely would be able to use.“

I ordered the Zuppa di pesce ( one of my favorite hard to find meals ) absolutely everything I was hoping it would be and more . The restaurant itself ain't very fancy but a steady flow of traffic of people picking up and calling in for orders . They are definitely doing something right . “We used this restaurant as a venue for a birthday party on Saturday afternoon. We had slight over 30 people. Food was great. Staff were easy to work with and extremely accommodating. Since it is now BYOB we saved $ in this area. I would recommend dimitri's highly. Many folks endorsed their pizza as best in Watertown.“
“So despite the name, Big Daddys does have eat-in service, and also appears to be part of a gas station? The location is a bit off the beaten path, but plenty of parking. I found a certificate on Restaurants.com for the pizzeria, and it was a good deal. Lunch and dinner at a discount! The burgers were pretty large, as were the fries if you ordered them as a side. The pizza had more of a tomato-acidy sauce than sweet, but a good amount of cheese. You could order by the slice inside. There is also ice cream, onion rings in the hot food area, and baked goods wrapped for desserts. There's both Coke and Pepsi in the coolers, and chips behind the window side booths. They also have a bar area and sell on Slice! Big Daddys also does local delivery on certain days in the evening. Goodness, there's a lot going on. Plus, a good flow of pick up orders. The gentlemen at the register seemed to have a good handle on things though.“
“First time at Kitchen 64 and I'm happy we went there. We shop at Four Corners grocery store across from Kitchen 64 and I noticed that it's always busy. I figured that it must be good. The diner is very modern, bright, and clean. My wife and I admired the paintings on the walls. The outdoor patio seating also looks inviting on a nice sunny day. They have a nice basic breakfast menu. I'm always looking for the unusual gourmet breakfast, but this place is perfect for your typical breakfast made with care. We were seated quickly and our friendly waitress gave us plenty of time to look over the menu to place our orders. Turns out, our waitress, Jen, is someone I've known since we were kids. Haven't seen her in years. Jen brought over our drinks and it seemed like we just started to sip our coffee and tea and our food arrived. Crazy fast service. It almost seemed like magic with how fast they cooked our breakfast. And it was cooked well and tasty. My wife had an omelette with sausage, tomato and cheese with rye toast and home fries. I had the Meat Lovers Omelette with rye toast and home fries. Next time I'll get either the eggs benedict, pancakes, or french toast. Lunch at Kitchen 64 sounds good too.“
“Pizzas are great, always consistent Hot and cold sandwiches are great. Ok fries & mediocre mozzarella sticks. Pasta dishes are hit or miss, their gnocchi was over cooked but had a decent flavor. Dinner salads are average, I wasn't impressed with other salads I've ordered.“

“I've driven by Bantam Pizza for years, and I think before this only stopped once. It's a cute exterior, it clearly used to be a house with a big front porch. The restaurant has a front and side entrance, although the side opens into the table area and looks a little cramped. The front you have more space to take it in. It still looks homey, with a pizza counter in the back of the "sitting room". The menu is pretty big with selections. I ultimately chose a steak sandwich, which had meat that was well seasoned. The cheese ratio was pretty good for this part of the country, and the bread was fresh. The mozzarella sticks were exactly what you think they are, and a little oily. My poor shirt suffered. The Oreo cake was not made in house, but so creamy and chocolately, who cares? The waitress was really friendly despite multitasking while she worked. Check on a table, then unload a box of soda. Check on tables, bring something to the basement. Her speed and good cheer throughout was impressive. It was good food and a good experience!“

“I live in Middlebury and this is the first time I went to this restaurant. Generally, it was very good. Apparently they have expanded the space in recent times and have installed a very large bar with high tops. I had the Jagger pizza with vodka sauce, cherry tomatoes, and fresh mozzarella. It was really quite delicious and I believe it was made in the Napoletano style. Very thin crust, slightly burnt edges, and a little chewy as it should be. The waiter was very friendly and helpful, albeit a little inexperienced. I will definitely come back and try other menu items.“

“For years I thought that the focus of this place was selling dessert pies and pint size beverages (shakes, etc) for families. More like a version of Pie Plate, if you remember them from Waterbury. Then a friend talked about going there and was shocked that I never had been. Once he mentioned the beer selection, I knew that I had to check it out. Unfortunately, I am now moving from the area but I have been going once every week or two for the past year. They really do have a great selection of craft beers on tap and in cans/bottles. A lot of rare beers, as well. I usually grab a small pepperoni & mushroom pizza, have two beers and save the rest for lunch the following day. The staff is amazing and the clientele is a mixed bag. Some chill people but also a lot of cocky people who either are rich or pretend to be rich. This is really odd because there is nothing pretentious about this place. But outside of that, this is my favorite place that I unfortunately only found out isn't a place for desserts, this past year.Parking: The only thing that I would say about parking is to slow down to a creep as soon as your GPS tells you that it is coming up. Very easy to miss because it sits well below street level. And if it is icy, don't even bother trying to make it out that steeper entrance/exit.“

My boyfriend recently brought me back home for my birthday and rented a hotel room nearby, specifically to bring me to get Rocky's pizza for the first time in 20 years. “I forgot to mention on my last review that we always get a vegan pizza to go with our dinners. It is really great crispy pizza with vegetables on top but no cheese. I'm sure all the other pizzas are equally delicious. Lasts for days in the fridge and can be reheated in oven- not microwave because that makes the crust mushy! Really good place!“
