Domenic's & Vinnie's Pizza Reviews
I’ve eaten their pizza since they opened. Best pizza I’ve ever eaten in my life! in fact, it’s the only pizza that I would eat! Highly recommended and you get a ton of pizza for your money :-)
I’ve been getting pizza from Domenic’s pizza going back to the 70’s when they only had one location on Wolcott rd. Went to Middlebury on Tuesday at 6 pm with a large group. The sign on the door said they were open till 8. We were told that they are closing because there wasn’t enough people in the restaurant and they didn’t have enough orders in so we had to leave. Went to Pies and Pub where we were met with great service and great food- and they certainly were happy...read full review

Domenic's & Vinnie's Pizza is a popular local spot known for serving excellent "Waterbury" style pizza with plenty of cheese and toppings. The restaurant offers efficient takeout and a well-lit, comfortable dining room. Pizzas are always cooked to perfection, and customers can request extra sauce and a crispy crust. The beer selection is decent, with a few popular local choices. Customers appreciate the friendly and accommodating staff, and many find the prices reasonable despite the rising costs. The pizza crust is similar to New Haven style, though some feel it lacks a certain something that other places have, possibly due to cooking in electric ovens instead of coal, wood, or oil-fired ones. The restaurant also surprises some with its square-cut pizzas. For convenience, takeout pizzas are served on flat cardboard in bags, which can be a bit tricky to carry and transport without mess. Parking is generally easy to find in nearby lots shared with other businesses. The restaurant is on the main level with ADA-compliant door widths and ramp access, making it accessible for wheelchair users. It is a family-friendly place, and while it does not serve pasta dishes, it is a great spot for kids who enjoy pizza. Vegetarian options include white pizza with a personal choice of vegetables, along with sauce and toppings.
