“ordered from ollies for the first time last week. theyre new on slice! placed my order, and everything I put in the "special request" spot, was not done, I called them, they were SOOOOOO friendly and explained that it was a new system, and it was written very small, they made my food correct, and none of them could've been any more apologetic! I felt bad, since they had to bring it all the way back to Torrington. Again the person that delivered was apologetic, and they gave me a free desert. I cant tell you enough how friendly these guys ALL are, we even ordered from them again tonight. the food is sooo good, on top of good service, you can't go wrong...everyone needs to try them, you won't be disappointed! As a solo diner, ordering a pizza—as recommended—wasn’t practical for me, but the packed parking lot on a Thursday night was a great sign that the locals truly enjoy this place. The process is simple: place your order, then choose a table. A unique touch was receiving a playing card as my order number. I ordered the meatballs and Italian-seasoned wings, along with a house Cabernet. No Spirits here, but great selection of Barley pops and wine however. For an extra nickel, I received a refill token in the form of a casino coin—such a novel idea that I had to play along. The drink service lagged a bit, either because the restaurant was busy or because I failed to pick up my Cabernet at the counter. The meatballs arrived first: three large, flavorful meatballs served in a ramekin with marinara and melted cheese. I chose three meatballs with a side salad instead of four, and it was the perfect amount. The wings arrived shortly after I finished. I chose the Italian-seasoned, baked wings. They were very tasty, although I generally prefer fried wings—though the baked option was probably the better choice for me that evening. Overall, this was a very reasonably priced dinner, and I didn’t feel too bad passing on one of the amazing-looking pizzas. Torrington has clearly maintained the East Coast pizza tradition and reputation. A stop here won’t disappoint.“

“With comparison to the New Haven style pizzas I think Franks is one of the best in the vicinity. You can tell it’s family owed and operated by the way the answer the phone and their great customers. Thank you for that! They always get my order straight. You’d be surprised just a regular order can be messed up by some of these other pizza joints. Crust is perfect and crisp, but not burnt. Toppings are great with perfect blend of sauce, not overpowering.“

Dessert was Tiramisu, limoncello cake, and New York cheesecake. Family atmosphere. They also have a private room you can book for parties. You can eat in the bar area or restaurant.
