“Moved to the Hartford metro area a little over a year ago, and have begun trying lots of restaurants to try to find our favorites! In an effort to find great pizza after trying over a half dozen pizzerias, we visited Little City at someone's suggestion. We have now been there three times and so far have not been disappointed! All three times, the place was full...a good sign! Their pizza crust is a little more 'crispy' than a NY slice but in a good way, and the thickness is just right! Cheese and sauce - just the right amount according to my wife, although a little more sauce would have been more to my liking. Twice we had young kids with us (5 & 3 yrs), and upon being seated were immediately provided the usual choice of booster or high chair....and crayons with paper to keep us all busy! Clearly a child friendly restaurant. Wait staff have always been very responsive and available as needed. And food came out in a reasonable time, especially considering how busy they were. We probably pass about a dozen pizzerias on our way to Little City. We'll not only be back but this has likely become our go-to place! Enjoy!!“
“I have been picking up pizza here for years. Very friendly staff . I order to pick up after work and my pizza is always ready on time and is fresh and delicious. My favorite is sausage peppers mushrooms and onion. I have also had the ham and cheese grinder and Italian combo grinders. In the summer I pick up a grinder and go to the park nearby on the Farmington River to sit and eat it . Very relaxing .“

“Recently hosted a 40th Birthday at Iron Horse and cannot rave enough about the event. Frank, the Manager, was incredibly helpful and responsive, which made planning the party for 60 people really simple. They were able to assist with bringing in a Trivia Master and the place looked amazing with the decorations we bought. The food and choices were awesome - everyone raved (get the egg rolls!) and all in all it was the perfect evening. Can't thank Frank and his team enough for making the evening such a huge success and we'll definitely be hosting parties there again!“

Tonight we ventured “out of our comfort zone” and got white Florentine with added hot peppers. Awesome! I can't tell you about the other dishes, because the pizza was all I had.I went with an untraditional style (BBQ boneless ribs), and it tasted fine. My biggest umbrage was with the crust, which wasn't all that great.I have a few issues overall, which I'd like to air: to begin with, the iced tea they serve is out of a soda gun. One would expect a restaurant that's trying to be upscale/trendy would make their own. It's not really all that hard, but if that's something they can't do, it makes me worried about whatever other shortcuts they're taking in the back of the house. Additionally, soda gun iced tea is super saturated with sugar, and some of us like it unsweetened.The other major issue I had was with the service. I inquired about getting a side of pizza sauce on the side to dip my crusts into, but decided against it when I heard of the uncharged. Firstly, who in their right mind charges for a little bit of sauce? That's ridiculous. Secondly, and more importantly, despite saying clearly that I did not want it, the server still brought me some and charged me on the bill for it. I've heard of aggressive sales tactics, but never have I experienced being given something I didn't want and paying for the privilege.All in all, this was a fairly disappointing experiance, which is a shame because there was something on the menu which I wanted to try, but now don't know if I'll be going back at any point soon seeing as how many resturants exist in the area.Vegetarian options: There were some meat free dishes.Dietary restrictions: They offered gluten free pizza crusts. I think they had some other gluten free items on the menu.Parking: Not a whole lot of spots out front. I had to park a little way away and hike over.Kid-friendliness: Nope. “Just moved my parents into the town so wanted to try something close and local. Per the website they prefer customers to use the Slice app so I did that. Ordering was easy especially when it came to customization. We needed it delivered since we were tied up with moving etc. Took a loooong time and was delivered a good 15 minutes after the estimated time (was a 45 min wait for the pizza and delivery). Keep in mind.... Drop off location was less than 4 miles from the shop. That was the only frustrating thing- next time we will 1000% pick up to save time. The pizzas themselves were great! The cheeseburger pizza is my personal favorite but we got the Works and a plain cheese. No complaints with the food.“
“My daughter and I go here often after school or after activities. Most of the staff have great personalities and the restaurant usually isn't too bad as far as cleanliness goes. Sometimes the tables and seats could be a little cleaner but its not terrible. The pizza is really good, reminds me of papa ginos (which is my favorite pizza ever). My daughter loves their mozzarella sticks and their sauces for the wings are my absolute favorite! I love the buffalo barbecue sauce, it's delicious! I wouldn't recommend the chicken wraps though, tried a couple times now hoping the first time was a one off but really not the best item on the menu. Got a nasty stomach ache after both times trying one.“

They were not shy with their toppings and it was absolutely delicious. There was a plentiful amount of cheese and the meat was sliced into large pieces so with every bite you were sure to get a taste of everything. The venue is casual and there are a good amount of indoor seating and they have a fairly large menu, serving gyros, sandwiches, grinders, and a variety of appetizers. When I worked around the corner in Farmington, Andy's was my go-to for lunch whether dining in or taking out. At their new location in Simsbury, they renovated their space which was formally a dark restaurant, to a bright inviting atmosphere. “We've been here a few times for both dinner on the deck and special occasion events. The food is typically decent. I've enjoyed their pizza. They're meatball sub is delicious (and I'm Italian and am typically really picky when it comes to meatballs). The back deck is so delightful- especially on a cool evening sitting around one of the fire tables. I have 2 young kids so being able to dine outside is always nice. We dined there last week and had a less than stellar experience. It was a Thursday evening. The kids and I met some family after they played golf. It was much busier than I would have expected. Waitress comes over in a huff - clearly overwhelmed. She wasn't that friendly and was rushing, She took 8 orders - drinks and meals - without writing anything down. My cousin and I chuckled about it when she walked away. We were both saying it'd be a miracle if she got it right. Well she didn't. And the worst part is that we waited about 30 mins for our meals - and the two she messed up out of the 8 were my 4 and 9 year olds. So then we waited another 15 mins for 2 pizzas. It was just annoying. Write it down next time. Well obviously be back but definitely not if something like this happens again.“

“I have been to Italy three times (Rome and Naples included) and strongly believe Luna Pizza is the best pizza in the whole world!!!! We have been ordering pizza here for over a decade been and keep coming back. The ingredients are SO fresh and you can tell at first bite. Order anything on the menu and you won't be disappointed. Something unique that we love about Luna's is the Buffalo pizza special -the pizza is so good, makes you forget which team they are supporting. Nowadays, we mostly do takeout or delivery (never been disappointed) but there is lots of seating available in the restaurant. Always greeted by friendly staff. They use to have to most beautiful paintings of local scenery hung up on the walls for sale, but that has been fazed at this point. Would love if they would bring back the paintings!“

“We got lunch at this delightful cafe. I've been wanting to check this place out. It's more than a cafe, they serve delicious sandwiches, pizza, beer, burgers, and premade grab and go food. A few of the grab and go items I noticed were, chicken Parmesan, lasagna, soups, salads, ice cream, and cookies. They also offer pizza and pasta making classes; and catering for weddings and parties.I got The DB Panini which had turkey, bacon, onion, lettuce, tomato, mayo, cheese, and pepper relish; all hot pressed under bread, this was really good with a pickle and chips as sides. My toddler had grilled cheese and my husband had the Little Oak burger, which they both liked. It was a nice day so we sat out on the patio. The inside was very cozy and clean. I can't wait to try out their coffee and breakfast sandwiches soon.“
