“My husband surprised me with a dinner gathering at Red Lotus. Immediately upon walking in we were greeted by two staff members and the owner Larry. Gary was our server who I must say was by far the best server we have ever had. Gary and Larry truly made us feel like we were the only ones there (they had a full house) the food was delicious we were a party of 8 and all had different plates none of us were disappointed with our food. The presentation of the plates were beautiful! Larry made sure to come to our table and assure we were satisfied with our food and service took time out to talk with us and build a relationship. “Oh my gosh!! What a delicious meal we just had!! We found several gift cards in a drawer and visited Outback Steakhouse in Shelton. The outdoor seating area was perfect! The server, James, was very attentive and helpful. The food was delivered in a timely fashion and was wonderful! My scallops and shrimp were cooked to perfection and the Cajun seasoning was spot on. Keith's steak was cooked just as he requested. The portions were terrific! My cheesecake was smooth and yummy and Keith's chocolate dessert was a real treat. “I am a germaphobe and this place was CLEAN. The bottles of condiments and syrup were free of drips. I really enjoyed my extra crispy bacon (no burnt spots), pancakes and breakfast burrito. The diner coffee was good. The service was great and bathroom tidy. There are two stalls if you are larger than 5'5 and have some body on you wait for the larger stall.“

“We were looking for a new favorite Chinese place in the Shelton area and we just found it. Their General Tso’s and Lo Mein were some of the best I’ve had.

“The place doesn't look cozy and it only has like 3 tables, but the food is very good most of the clients order by phone to be deliver or to pick it up that's the reason you don't see too many clients there, but is one of the favorites places for the community that lives and works at Shelton.“

The food is great and unlike most other Chinese restaurants the portions haven’t decreased, price although higher than before but not significantly. If you order online you can use a credit card if you wait until you get your order in person you will need cash. I travel 45 minutes to get my Chinese food from them because they are that good!“

“Had our baby shower here this weekend in the private room! The space was a great fit for about 40 people with a gift table and food/dessert table. Staff was amazing and so helpful. Professional, helpful and kind folks that helped make the party run so smoothly. The pizza assortment they chose for us was perfect, fresh and so good! Thank you for making a special vegan/gluten free pie for a guest!! Being able to bring in decor and our own cake/cookies was such a plus. Even though the desserts that were included with the package we chose were awesome. Can’t wait to have another party there in the future!“
