“Everything was delicious I am so glad I found this place again. I came with my family years ago and remembered loving it and saw the name on Instagram somewhere and figured we would give it a try. They have a beautiful outdoor patio I saw but we did sit inside. Espresso martini & old fashioned were great. I had the penne alla vodka and my boyfriend had the tortellini carbonara.. I found myself picking off his plate because it was so yummy. The pasta is hand made, which makes it very soft which I love!! If you’re expecting al dente you won’t find that here (thank god). Both were fantastic. We also had the tiramisu for dessert. We will be recommending this to family & friends. We really enjoyed our dinner thank you!“

“Catering Party @ Sally’s Apizza Fairfield On Saturday September 13, 2025, we celebrated our 50th Wedding Anniversary. The food, service and staff were phenomenal. We all know how great the pizza is, but the appetizers and salads were equally great. I can’t say enough about the wonderful servers, Dan and Brandon. There were efficient, kind, friendly and polite. They went out of their way to insure everyone was having a great time. The bartenders and other staff went a long way to help make everyone enjoy the party. I also want to thank the General Manager, James Layfield and the Catering Manager, Helen Blanchard for their exceptional service and hospitality. “They were very welcoming for my seating of 1 which I appreciated. I’ve always considered them to have the best ramen in New Haven and love that they have HK milk tea for when I’m craving a fix. This time, the recommendation was for the braised beef noodle soup and it was EXACTLY what I was in search for ok a chilly night. A warm, flavourful, layered hug. “I’m a late-comer to original Frank Pepe’s due to distance. Oh, what I have been missing! You do need to be strategic about timing because it’s very popular — because it’s exceptionally good. Fairly easy access from I-95.“

“Came here on a quiet weeknight and was amazed by the authentic Italian cuisine. Started off with a wonderful Burrata then I had the Rigatoni Bolgenese with was really good. We also bought a loaf of the Italian Bread to bring home. That bread with some Cabot butter and you are on to something!! Would visit again.“

“This restaurant was well worth the hour drive to get there. They served the best potato salad I have ever had - & trust me I have tried hundreds of them in my long life. The vegetable dinner option I enjoyed today was perfect. I highly recommend the cabbage, black eye peas, and Caribbean rice along with the amazing potato salad. And I must add that the moist, scrumptious, and famous corn bread couldn’t have been better. Sandra’s is a place I will return to. “Prime BRG was an absolute highlight of our day in New Haven!

We ordered the OG Burger, and it was incredibly tender, juicy, and packed with flavor. The New Haven Hot Chicken Sandwich had just the right little kick, with perfectly crispy breading and so much flavor!

And the sides! The fries were some of the most perfectly cooked fries we've had. Crispy on the outside and soft and fluffy on the inside. The onion rings had that perfect balance of breading to onion, which is harder to find than you'd think!

The buffalo cauliflower was another standout. I've typically only had it unbreaded, but their breaded version took it to an entirely different level. Absolutely delicious!

What really rounded out the experience was the hospitality. From our server Amanda to Christina behind the bar, both were wonderful and made us feel so welcome.

Fantastic food, great people, and an experience that made our visit to New Haven even more memorable. Definitely a place we'd return to!“
