Really love the cozy place and good food
Really love the cozy place and good food
The food and service at this place are both great. The breakfast portions are generous. Don’t miss the mint lemonade; it’s a must-try. And the za’tar pizza (I don’t think that’s what they call it) is one of my favorites. Highly recommend it!
Walking by and decided to stop for breakfast. It was good. Hit the spot. Owners were very attentive.

Chap's Grille offers decent food in a great atmosphere. The homemade bagels and baba ganoush are highlights of the menu. Guests have praised the breakfast options, particularly the pancakes, eggs, and potatoes, noting they are tasty and well-seasoned. The service is generally good with great effort to deliver quality service, especially on a busy day. The owner and chef are warm and welcoming, making an effort to create a comfy, fun, and easy going environment. Many customers appreciate the variety, including the chipotle chicken & avocado panini, the “Final Exam” with pancakes and bacon, the Graduate Special with perfectly cooked meat, and the cobb salad with crispy bacon. It is a top choice for breakfast in the area and a gem in New Haven with a laid back, warm, and welcoming vibe. The menu has something for everyone, and everything hits the spot.
