“Tried Pizzaro’s Pizzeria for the first time. My wife and I shared a large antipasta salad and a large cheese pizza with garlic, half pepperoni and half broccoli. Everything was great. While this is more a takeout place they have large booths and the service was excellent. The salad was awesome and so large we took 1/4 of it home. The pizza was excellent. Thin crust with a delicious sauce. I’m not a fan of the outer crust but this was so good I ate everything. I highly recommend their pizza. We have to go back and try their subs and meals as I witnessed many people getting these and pizza for takeout. I give it five stars. We will be back.“

“I ordered online several different pizzas for pickup on New Years Day for a party of 10 people. I received a confirmation at 11:00 am that my pies would be ready at requested time of 2:00 pm. I arrived at restaurant at 2:00 and pizzas were just coming out of oven as scheduled! There was not one guest that did not rave about the flavors of pizzas! Plenty of toppings on all and the crust was perfect!“

“My wife and I are regulars at Hot Tamale. We eat there twice a month. The service is always reliable and fast, whether we eat there or order takeout. The prices are good and the servings generous. The atmosphere is welcoming.“

“My friend, who had never had Korean food absolutely LOVED the place. We ordered the tteokboki with cheese, kimchi jeon and tofu bibimbop and udon noodles. The food was AMAZING. I would definitely go back again. The staff were particularly nice as well.“

“My husband surprised me with a dinner gathering at Red Lotus. Immediately upon walking in we were greeted by two staff members and the owner Larry. Gary was our server who I must say was by far the best server we have ever had. Gary and Larry truly made us feel like we were the only ones there (they had a full house) the food was delicious we were a party of 8 and all had different plates none of us were disappointed with our food. The presentation of the plates were beautiful! Larry made sure to come to our table and assure we were satisfied with our food and service took time out to talk with us and build a relationship. The staff were probably ready for us to leave because we have four neurodivergent kids, some with high needs in certain settings, so we certainly were not quiet. If it is not working for black hog maybe raise price of card a little? We love the beer but beer is becoming expensive at all of the breweries. “The food was phenomenal, so good that we had to bring our whole family here twice the same week. I had the Chorizo, and Asada burritos which were decently sized, they come with guacamole. The atmosphere was perfect with the tables and chairs being hand painted (I think). Service is another 10/10, they gave us free churros both times, and gave us chips and refried beans as a type of “unlimited side”. They were so kind wishing us happy mother’s days. Overall experience was a 10/10 and I will definitely recommend my other family members here.“

“Oh my gosh!! What a delicious meal we just had!! We found several gift cards in a drawer and visited Outback Steakhouse in Shelton. The outdoor seating area was perfect! The server, James, was very attentive and helpful. The food was delivered in a timely fashion and was wonderful! My scallops and shrimp were cooked to perfection and the Cajun seasoning was spot on. Keith's steak was cooked just as he requested. The portions were terrific! My cheesecake was smooth and yummy and Keith's chocolate dessert was a real treat. “Randomly stopped here for my mom’s birthday dinner and so glad we did! We were seated immediately, got our drinks pronto and the server made sure to make my mom feel special on her birthday! We ordered the mushroom pasta (truffle butter is divine), the roasted duck and bolognese. Yummy all around. Service is amazing and definitely contributes the most to this 5 star rating! We didn’t check out the rooftop but I heard that’s nice too.“
