If it were not for Alisha, I doubt this experience would be notable or memorable. On the surface, this is just a regular diner, a place I stopped by while hungry. I entered with no expectations. Georgie's Diner was a delight! Tucked away in a quasi-industrial area it's the real old style diner both inside and out. But the menu had traditional and delicious twists. I had blueberry pancakes with sweet cashew frosting. I thought it would be too sweet but couldn't resist, but it was perfect. All the servers worked with the hustle of old fashioned diners. If you're passing West Haven CT, don't miss it.
