“We were driving up to the Boston area and everyone got hungry so we looked for a place right off the highway and this is what came up. It was a fantastic stop because it didn’t set us back even 10 minutes - perfect location. When we pulled up we were honestly skeptical and warned the kids it may not be like home (we are NYers) but the pizza was SOOOOOO YUMMY. Some of the best we have had. The kids chicken fingers/fries order was large enough to feed 3 people and also excellent. This is a classic case of don’t judge a book by its cover - a MUST EAT location.“

They need some relaxing jazz, Opera, Sinatra etc. However picked the music for an Italian Restaurand, knows nothing about a relaxing atmosphere!!!!“

“I’ve been a fan and customer of Villarina’s Southbury for many years for far too many reasons to list ... but the most important one is the owners who are family and treat everyone like family!❤️ This is a quick review to say YUMMMM!!! Before the “stay at home” order went into effect, I stocked up on their frozen dinners and lots of pasta sauce. Always love having these in our house and especially so now. We recently tried the frozen linguine w/white clam sauce I had picked up. It was our first time for this dinner and WOW! It was fabulous. My husband says it’s the best he’s ever had. It’s not something I typically eat but loved it. We’ll add it to our list of things to pick-up. Thanks as always!!!“

“Outstanding restaurant! (and we do a lot of our dining in NYC!) Local 63 is an oasis in Watertown, CT in a variety of ways. The food is creative (even when the dish SOUNDS traditional). The chicken fried steak (hard to even find in New England) is outstanding. The salads were awesome: perfectly dressed with great crunch and freshness. The Cassoulet (originally a French farmhouse dish) with chicken, in-house sausage, and white beans cooked to perfection is something you will not find in many other places. Great bar--friendly atmosphere and great for large groups and celebrations. This is a hidden gem with excellent service and owners who obviously care! I will go back and bring many other guests here when I have a chance.“

If it is not working for black hog maybe raise price of card a little? We love the beer but beer is becoming expensive at all of the breweries. “Reverie continues to be a top contender for our favorite craft brewery in CT. Today was another great visit…the 5th anniversary of Reverie’s existence. The live music was great, the beer was great, the souvenir pub glasses were great, the staff is always great, and our group of 8 had a great time! We googled Thai in our area & this is literally down the road from us. We got the Thai sampler platter, the spicy noodles with chicken and a mango sticky rice. 10/10. “jimmys food is excellent! however I was there for the 1st time last week, our waitress was not friendly with us. no personality, no smile..brought our food put it down walked away, said nothing. then 5 mins later, as she was walking by the table threw the receipt down, said nothing. Never came to see if we needed anything else or how the food was, she never offered desert, so we didn't get that. I had to go to the counter and ask for a box, as again she never came back to the table. there were only a few tables full, so she wasn't overly busy, meanwhile I'm watching the other waitress there, smile and laugh with her customers. I wish I knew her name, because she definitely needs to learn people skills. ohh I also heard her complaining to a customer who she must've known, about her training someone and now the other girl is waiting tables and she was not happy that this girl was doing her job basically 🙄“

“Tried Pizzaro’s Pizzeria for the first time. My wife and I shared a large antipasta salad and a large cheese pizza with garlic, half pepperoni and half broccoli. Everything was great. While this is more a takeout place they have large booths and the service was excellent. The salad was awesome and so large we took 1/4 of it home. The pizza was excellent. Thin crust with a delicious sauce. I’m not a fan of the outer crust but this was so good I ate everything. I highly recommend their pizza. We have to go back and try their subs and meals as I witnessed many people getting these and pizza for takeout. I give it five stars. We will be back.“

“Family friendly. I had a grand daughter under the table and screaming (age4) and waitress tried to get on the floor and comfort her. Owner,John, came out to talk with us and tried to talk to her as he usually did (we went regularly so he knew her). I apologized and he calmly said no problem, he stayed calm. I said there were other customers and he said well they can leave. We have pizza Fridays so we get pizza there every Friday and other dishes at times. I can personally say the vodka sauce is excellent. Husband loves the meatball grinders.“

“We visited Walker Road Vineyards today after seeing the sign while driving through the countryside and we cannot recommend it enough. The scenery was beautiful. The barn gave it a rustic feel and the wine was delicious. My husband and I had the rose and it was superb. Also the owners were incredibly kind and took the time to talk to us about the history of the vineyard and they walked around talking to other people too. What really made it special was them taking the time to talk to my kids and make them feel important! Let’s keep small businesses like this alive. We will definitely be going back in the future!“
