“Hands-down the best Italian food I have ever had—and I do not say that lightly. I would absolutely drive 8 hours just to eat here again. That’s how good it was. I started with the burrata appetizer, served with baby arugula, fire-roasted red peppers, and prosciutto. Fresh, creamy, perfectly balanced. For entrées, I had the linguini with veal meatballs and I also tried the pan-seared scallops over cheese ravioli, with baby spinach, sun-dried tomatoes and wild mushrooms. This dish alone deserves its own standing ovation. This is the kind of place that reminds you what really good Italian food is supposed to taste like. So if you’re anywhere near Southbury or honestly anywhere in Connecticut, go. And if you’re 8 hours away like me? Still go. It’s worth it“

“I’ve been a fan and customer of Villarina’s Southbury for many years for far too many reasons to list ... but the most important one is the owners who are family and treat everyone like family!❤️ This is a quick review to say YUMMMM!!! Before the “stay at home” order went into effect, I stocked up on their frozen dinners and lots of pasta sauce. Always love having these in our house and especially so now. We recently tried the frozen linguine w/white clam sauce I had picked up. It was our first time for this dinner and WOW! It was fabulous. My husband says it’s the best he’s ever had. It’s not something I typically eat but loved it. We’ll add it to our list of things to pick-up. Thanks as always!!!“

“Great food with wonderfully friendly staff. You cannot go wrong with a Morsnd's Special for your pizza cravings. They also have other great dishes...try their lasagna with a salad. Alao, you have to get the house dressing on the salad (its great drizzled in your pizza too)! Dont forget to ask for their fresly baked, warm br3ad. Great local experience right here in Southbury!“

“3rd. Time at Mercato. Food is good. Problem is the music! If you want to eat and relax, forget it! If you are 15 and like loud disco type music, this is your place. They need some relaxing jazz, Opera, Sinatra etc. However picked the music for an Italian Restaurand, knows nothing about a relaxing atmosphere!!!!“

“My wife and I have lived in many places and we've never had a sandwich that was so delicious, even on the next day. We've eaten our way from coast to coast and this is my far the greatest hero, grinder, sandwich whatever you want to call it. We will never be getting a grinder anywhere else. I ordered the Zuppa di pesce ( one of my favorite hard to find meals ) absolutely everything I was hoping it would be and more . Very extensive menu if you can't find something here to tickle your taste buds maybe your not human . The service was awesome. The restaurant itself ain't very fancy but a steady flow of traffic of people picking up and calling in for orders . They are definitely doing something right . Me and the wife was in from out of town for a funeral. And we was very satisfied with our meals and service . So if your in the area this place is definitely worth the stop .“

“Tried Pizzaro’s Pizzeria for the first time. My wife and I shared a large antipasta salad and a large cheese pizza with garlic, half pepperoni and half broccoli. Everything was great. While this is more a takeout place they have large booths and the service was excellent. The salad was awesome and so large we took 1/4 of it home. The pizza was excellent. Thin crust with a delicious sauce. I’m not a fan of the outer crust but this was so good I ate everything. I highly recommend their pizza. We have to go back and try their subs and meals as I witnessed many people getting these and pizza for takeout. I give it five stars. We will be back.“

“This is my favorite pizza spot in town, and the best in my opinion. I'm here 2-3 days a week grabbing a slice for lunch. Every sporting event is pizza and wings and salad from here.

Both living in Woodbury and New York this is the best slice that gets both worlds right. And I know they use quality ingredients as I have worked in this industry for most of my career.

“We live in Oakville and we have been getting our take out from Paradise for over 15 years. We just love everything there. We are never disappointed. They have saved us on many occasions with their party pizza, which is so reasonably priced. My kids would always have a lot of friends over, we can feed everyone and not break the bank. Dave and his staff are so friendly. We are actually on a first name basis because I am in there so often. The delivery drivers are awesome. If you haven't tried their food, please do.“

The pasta bolognese was rich and flavorful, the chicken cacciatore was perfectly cooked, and the garlic knots were a delicious must-have. We also really enjoyed the fresh combo salad. The delivery was prompt and the food arrived hot and fresh. Franco's delivers a fantastic dining experience right to our door.
