“First time there. Our hostess was also preparing drinks, answering the phone and then she was our server! What a trooper. Lots of menu choices. Meals were all delish: baked rigatoni, penne vodka, chicken Frances, beef stroganoff and a cavatelli dish. Yum! Lovely atmosphere.“

“Great people offering your typical fan fare for a pizzeria. I have had their pizza, and although it is not for me, theirs subs are by far the best in the area. Their grinder rolls are exquisite and come from NY and mesh phenominaly with their chicken parm and sausage and peppers. I find their grinders very well priced for what you get and always well received. ALSO, a GIANT kudos... these people take phone orders CORRECTLY and follow directions well!

“Gisellas has been our favorite go to Italian restaurant in DANBURY since it opened. Food is always delicious and consistent and the wait staff couldn’t be more accommodating. Unfortunately last night we had a different experience the moment we walked in the door. Hostess was very unfriendly and dismissive, no eye contact and acted like she was doing us a favor seating us! Thankfully, like always, the rest of our dining experience was amazing!“

The restaurant itself ain't very fancy but a steady flow of traffic of people picking up and calling in for orders . They are definitely doing something right . Me and the wife was in from out of town for a funeral. And we was very satisfied with our meals and service . So if your in the area this place is definitely worth the stop .“

“Went here for brunch with some friends and ate at the rooftop. It was slow when we arrived because we ate at an off time but that made it better because it was such a nice atmosphere to chat and relax. By far some of the best things I’ve ever eaten. It was $27 for an appetizer, main course, and dessert which I thought was a great price. You won’t be leaving here hungry! I would definitely come here again.“

“I’ve been a fan and customer of Villarina’s Southbury for many years for far too many reasons to list ... but the most important one is the owners who are family and treat everyone like family!❤️ This is a quick review to say YUMMMM!!! Before the “stay at home” order went into effect, I stocked up on their frozen dinners and lots of pasta sauce. Always love having these in our house and especially so now. We recently tried the frozen linguine w/white clam sauce I had picked up. It was our first time for this dinner and WOW! It was fabulous. My husband says it’s the best he’s ever had. It’s not something I typically eat but loved it. We’ll add it to our list of things to pick-up. Thanks as always!!!“

“I visited and was really disappointed because Vazzy's has always been a family favorite for years. My aunt had the mussels, which she said the flavor really wasn't there. I had the meatballs appetizer and a salad. The meatballs were ok, but not what I was expecting. My Mom had the chicken parmasean and said it was good. Some of the staff really weren't that friendly. Just a really disappointing visit.“

“My husband and I tried Bora Restaurant for the first time last night. It was excellent!! The food was delicious, the decorations were beautiful, the atmosphere was warm and cozy, all of the staff that we encountered were young but surprisingly all so very well mannered, polite and very nice!! “First time at Miranda's! Greeted immediately when we walked in the door. The staff was so warm and friendly. The restaurant was empty when we arrived around 4:30. Took us a few minutes to decide what we were having, but the waitress was so kind and accommodating. Finally decided on garlic bread with cheese, cheese pizza, meatball grinder. Meat lasagna, soup and Caesar salad. Everything was on point and delicious. Not a crumb left on the table when we finished. When we left there wasn't an empty table in the place. Highly recommend you give them a try.“

“We recently celebrated my mother`s 100th birthday at Pulcinellas with about 40 friends and family and everyone is still talking about it ! Linda ensured perfection all around. The pizza, antipasto, entrees (chicken champagne, veal francese, eggplant rolatini, penne a la vodka), and sides were delicious and plentiful. “We've been coming here since they opened in Woodbury, and it's safe to say that they're still just as good, if not better. Everything I've ever had here is always hot, fresh, and tasty. If I ever have time, I always try and come in for a slice of Buffalo chicken pizza. It always comes out in a timely manner, and is constantly amazing every time. The owner is extremely friendly, and makes for a great experience everytime. While they may be priced a little higher than some other pizza places, you are absolutely getting what you pay for.“

“I had lost power for 28 hours last week. I called Carlito’s on Friday evening 6/28 after I got my electricity back ?. I had salad, warm
rolls, fried zucchini with marinara sauce, my entree was 2 sautéed soft shell crabs & pasta.
The service was amazing! Food delicious!
I decided I had room for dessert. I sat in the lounge and had a scrumptious chocolate lava cake!!!
I don’t want all of my food delivered at once. At Carlito’s I didn’t feel rushed. Warm rolls and ice water. Appetizer. Salad. Entree. All served after you have finished the previous course. I enjoyed a very relaxed evening!

It’s hard to find good delis these days in Connecticut but this is the place ! The new owner comes from a long years of experience in the kitchen industry and they are very knowledgeable in what you want to eat. No such thing as language barrier, it’s all about communication and how detailed you are with how you want your order to be made.

“AMAZING! A.S is amazing. Their staff is so patient and helpful. The quality of the food and cleanliness of the location is near perfect. We usually travel to Norwalk, but thankful they opened a location near Shelton/Monroe. We went before Christmas Eve and it made our holiday feel “normal”.“

“I've been going to this location for roughly 6-7 years. It's gone through 3 different owners until this point. The new ownership is by far the best to date. Everything I've had up until this point I'd highly recommended. I haven't tried everything yet, but one of my favorites so far was the shrimp francese, (I added capers to mine). The current pizza maker has stayed with the business throughout the years and has gone through the ranks and changes. He does a great job and should be celebrated for his hard work and dedication. I'm excited to welcome this new restaurant to my list of places I love to eat in New Milford. If you haven't been, definitely check it out! If for nothing else, at least to check out their JUMBO slices!
