Lack of service! 6+ employees behind the counter and not one offered to take your order. I was one of three customers in the store. On one occasion I ordered a roast beef grinder w/ horseradish dressing, when I got home to enjoy my grinder there was NO ROAST BEEF on the grinder. I’ve taken my business elsewhere.
AMAZING! A.S is amazing. Their staff is so patient and helpful. The quality of the food and cleanliness of the location is near perfect.
We usually travel to Norwalk, but thankful they opened a location near Shelton/Monroe. We went before Christmas Eve and it made our holiday feel “normal”.
I got my husband a sandwich from the new A&S this AM. (Side note, I grew up in Stamford and that location has always been a favorite) He has never admitted that something was good before. If he loves it, he will say “eh it was ok.” (He’s a man, that’s how they operate. He sent me a text after lunch and said “that was a good sandwich.” Congrats, A&S, for cracking the uncrackable. I almost passed out when I read the text. Needless to say, we will be back! 💯
