I had an incredibly disappointing experience at this restaurant. Not only did they provide me with the incorrect order to go, but they actually gave me something that wasn't even on their menu. The frustration didn't end there. Despite contacting the manager the next day to address the issue, who, regrettably, I can't recall the name of, they offered two options: reimbursement or a gift card mailed to me. It's now April, and I'm still waiting for that promised gift card to arrive at my doorstep. In February, I reached out again, only to be reassured that it had been sent and another one would be dispatched. However, here I am, empty-handed and immensely upset. To add insult to experienced, my friends and I had spent over $400 on meals and drinks that night, only to have my to-go order botched. It's a shame that such a costly outing ended with such disappointment. Can't recall the manager name, however she lives in Watertown ct. This information she shared with me during our conversation and offered to mail because she knew how far I lived.

We tried for the first time last night. I had called earlier in the day for a reservation, but when we arrived it was not in the system. They nonetheless found room for us on a crowded night. The menu had a lot of appealing items, it was hard to decide and we were happy with everything we ordered. Service was great. It is a bit open room that is a bit loud. We expected that so it didn't bother us but just adding it to the review for folks who prefer a quieter night out.

My brother loves this restaurant so we gave it try. No frills open seating type place with nice decor. Not keen on ala carte restaurants but ... Service was prompt and cordial, waitperson made sure we knew the specials. We shared the Tuscan bean appetize which was very tasty and panchetta gave it a nice twist. Shared a house salad which was ok. I had CC chicken and sausage scarpariello. It was excellent. Plenty of meat and parparelle and sauce was tasty. My wife had a banzino fish special and she said it was great. Plenty of parking, food was super, thought it was a bit pricey but prices are up in all restaurants so just don't go out as often now.

Nice place, horrible service, food was pricey and not good, and the portion was very small ordered appetizers at the same time as the food approximately 5:30pm didn’t get my food until 8pm I ordered mozzarella sticks they were cold had to send them back. For my meal I ordered the Fillet Mignon (med-well ) 3 quarter slice pieces for $38’s and it was burnt and had no flavor super dry after waiting almost 3hrs for it had to also send it back got another one same no flavor but just delt with it… I asked for steak sauce he never came back lol the Waiter wouldn’t come ask if we needed refills for our drinks asked for a soda waited 45 minutes to get one just horrible service would never go back

Probably picked the wrong night to try this restaurant. Staff was lovely but they were definitely understaffed for tonight. There were 3 very large parties (20) and at least 1 of 10. We ended up sitting in a bar booth. Comfy but not the experience we were looking for. Food was ok. Less authentic than I was looking for and poor presentation. The fresh burrata was delicious, but again presentation was lacking. Specialty drinks were creative and the one I had was delicious. This was definitely worth giving it a second chance.

Atmosphere is always wonderful. We visited on Valentine’s Day and found it was crowded and the kitchen was overwhelmed. Our app was cold on the inside. Our waitress made it right for us. Our entrees were perfect. We love Matto and can’t wait for our next time.

The server was adequate, he had no personality the experience was boring. The atmosphere is exciting. The food leaves a lot to be desired. The pizza is more like flat bread. The Calabrese pizza was so sweet it was inedible!!!The second pizza had little to no hot oil, total disappointment ! New Haven pizza still can’t be beat. Will return and try an entree because the appetizer we had was very good.I don’t usually give a restaurant a second try but I feel this one deserves it!
