“I recently visited Crazy Horse Axe Throwing…. what a great night! There were six of us and we opted for one of the virtual lanes so we were able to choose different “games” and throw axes at zombies, ducks, etc. This was my first experience with axe throwing so I wasn’t really sure what to expect. The owner/instructor, Lenny is amazing… he took his time to show us how to properly handle and throw the axe; I felt comfortable asking for help as a first-timer. Even our friends who have axe thrown many times, learned a few tricks! When you visit, make sure you wear closed toe shoes. Not thinking, I wore sandals - fortunately one of my friends had sneakers in their vehicle. The place is in a small plaza and may not look like much from the outside, but it is really nice inside. Very clean and the bar is gorgeous! They also have a billiard area if you’re interested in playing pool. Everyone had a great time and we can’t wait to go back!“

“Had a team training event in Milford for the week! 14 people in from 4 states. Started off with the football game on Sunday. Then brought everyone for dinner Tuesday night. Richie was great. Going to make this a regular stop during our work events!“

“The staff here make it a point to make me feel personally welcome, and other patrons are friendly as well. There are sometimes live bands, never with a cover charge, at least of the times I've been there. They have a TouchTunes so you can play music on nights there isn't a band. Kitchen is not open very late, I think only until 9:00pm (might vary by night). They have three or four table where you can shoot a round of pool. There is a large scenic outdoor patio where you can enjoy the fresh air and have a smoke. Cash only; they have an ATM if you need.“

“Such a solid place to hang out. Huge drinks, very inexpensive, and great food that is served late. I must comment on the potato leek soup I ordered last night, with BACON - had never had it that way before, and it was excellent! This place is a routine stop for me. With Alfas closing, this place will be even more busy.“

“Was a vendor working next door to their food truck while running an event for uni of Bridgeport. They were such kind people and gave us food after after a hectic day! The food was amazingggggggg!!! “I liked the place. Simple and nice ambience. The staff were sweet and friendly. Their service is quick. They are priced reasonably. They also have happy hours, you would want to check the drinks that are included in it before you place your order. Food was good. Parking should not be an issue.“

“Food was simply outstanding. We took the twin lobster rolls and made them two titan lobster rolls. Wings were perfect and the frozen pina colada was potent ( and I had two ). It was my wife’s birthday celebration. They made it memorable. Thanks guys.“

“Great food, enjoy lunch there. But the posted signs about becoming a cash-only establishment turned me off. Most places are going cash-less these days. I dont know many that carry cash, and paying ATM fee’s isnt going to cut it. I heard many asking when I was there. You may not have an issue with the regulars, but its a turn-off for new visitors.“

“My family and I had a ball today at Dave and Busters. We arrived around 115pm and there were no servers which was a bit strange - but the bartenders set up a table for us and took care of us. Food was very good and kids had an absolute blast. If there is one area for improvement it is the bathrooms - they were pretty gross, but the rest of our experience was Fantastic. We will definitely be back!“

“I never heared about this restaurant. We didn’t have a reservation. In my opinion this restaurant is amazing , food is great , service good , drinks good. We had Passion fruit caphirina , shrimp ceviche , angus burguer , chicken and cheese empanada. Delicious. I love the decor and atmosphere , live music , and the bar looks pretty nice. I think was a little be busy at that time but not bad at all , was Thursday I was surprise. maybe I didn’t like where we were sit or how they set the tables but was not bad at all. Yes I recommend. I had a good time there.“

“Through he grapevine I heard Dew Drop Inn had the BEST wings in Connecticut, so I made my way here to try them out myself!Atmosphere/Appearance: Let me tell you. It's a windy road to get here. Lol. But set right at a very non-traditional intersection of North Avenue & Roosevelt Drive is this gem. The outside doesn't look like much at all and there's maybe 6 parking spots to the left of the restaurant then there's another business across the street that MAY allow you to park there. At your own risk of course. Once on the inside the spot looks super modern and energetic. The back wall is all brick, the walls are painted with solid colors and there's a lil' easter egg to the right of the front entrance of The Incredible Hulk busting through the wall holding a plate of wings. Lol.Service: We sat right at the bar and the owner Jason was there so he was serving us directly. He was funny, accommodating and just was a genuine good time. Hiba, Meghan and Rachel were also very accommodating.Food: So while here I tried 7 different flavors of the 126 that are offered. I'll break them down one by one...Pink Peppercorn Lemon Thyme: They came out of the kitchen SO HOT. Lol, so be careful not to burn your mouth. They were AMAZING. Deliciously salty from the Himalayan sea salt, lemony and rounded out with some good Earthy flavors.Pink Peppercorn Lemon Curd: This is basically everything I described above, but with a delicious sauce on top. The sauce was a little honey-strawberry-lemon sweetness that complemented the wing excellently.Cilantro Lime Tahini: The cilantro flavor was an excellent base, but this may sound strange... but it almost tasted like refried beans. There was also a good cheesy flavor involved as well. It was so different and executed very well. Not a spicy wing for those that can't handle it.Cajun Garlic Butter Bacon: These were easily the tastiest "looking" wings due to all of the bacon pieces on top and they smelled simply incredible. Again, temperature hot, but these tasted like they were cooked IN a garlic oil. My goodness. The bacon added a meaty, hearty, salty, bacon-y flavor that just went well with the garlic and Cajun seasoning.Truffalo: This one is easy. Truffle and Buffalo mixed together. Excellent. I'm truffle-biased so of course I'd love these, but I could've used more truffle if I'm being honest.Strawberry Habanero: These were refreshing.. The strawberry flavor was very prevalent and it reminded me of a sweet & sour from a Chinese restaurant, buy elevated. I didn't get a lot of heat from these despite the name, but I loved it.Ghostly Habanero: While I didn't find the heat in the last flavor, it was all here. This was the hottest flavor on the menu at the time and rightfully so. These wings were gritty, sweet from the peppers and the heat was INSTANT. The habanero gave that initial jumpstart of heat, but the ghost pepper is the one that ramps up over time. It took about 3 minutes for the heat to FULLY kick in, but it definitely did. I teared up, I was sweating and this is not a wing I could eat a whole bunch of. Delicious though!Peanut Butter & Jelly: These were the hottest temperature wings we've had. Lol. Peanut butter is so incredibly dense so it just held all of that heat in. These were served with fluff as a dipping sauce. They were savory and sweet. Done very well.Value: Chicken wings are already expensive on their own, so adding this level of skillset to cook them, the materials and all brings an order of 6 to $10.99 for "Basic Flavors". "Not So Basic" is 6 for $11.75 and "Basically Ridiculous" as well as "Dessert" wings are 6 for $11.99. You can of course order them in bigger denominations, but there are 100% worth it.In conclusion, sadly, I haven't been back here since June of 2022, but I want to come back SO BAD. It's just literally an hour away from where I live. Lol. I will be back Jason! Thank you for everything.“

“I've evolved with this place for over 50 years. The food keeps getting better, the staff is great and the prices are reasonable. Nothing fancy but always good. It has its share of characters and always a friendly atmosphere. Relax, hava beer....“

“Took too long to get noticed at the bar 1st time 25 to 30 min and only after gestures were made more apparent to get noticed was the party service, and the second time attention had to be made clear service was needed ? shouldn't have to press to get attention to spend your money. Overall, I loved the place ❤️ had a fun time. didn't try the food this time , but I'll be back for a Smurder next time I'm there. Lots of very pretty women in the house ? ?“

“Great bar with great people!! It gives you Cheers vibes everyone is so friendly and inviting!! And the food is delicious!!! I haven't had anything that I did not enjoy yet!! You want great wings, huge chicken tenders, a lobster roll, soup, steak and cheese and or a quesadilla... they have it all!! Yes this bar has soup, amazing homemade soups!! But the nachos...top notch noone has chips like these!! Homemade, light, crunchy and fried to perfection!! You want your nachos layered right this is where you go!!!! Go see for yourself! Try the Cruz comfort bowl and add chili ?! Update: Ordered the turkey club with sweet potato fries enjoyed every bite!!! This place never disappoints!!!“

“Great first time there. Drinks were good. My major problem was that everything on the menu sounded good and I had a hard time deciding. I ended up choosing the cod sandwich and I can tell you they didn't try to cheat me. It was almost intimidating how large the sandwich was. It was delicious and based on how it looked another patron walked in asked what it was and ordered the same thing. Can't wait for another visit to try something else“

“My wife and I stopped here for lunch after a train ride in from NYC, it was our first time at Reruns but won't be our last. It is a small, but friendly establishment - as the only non-regulars in the place it could have been uncomfortable, but Karen the bartender treated us like old friends. The owner/chef (didn't catch his name) was friendly, and a great guy. They told us (most of) the food is homemade. We had the French onion soup made by the owners wife (incredible), a buffalo chicken wrap with tots (very good sauce), a $19 lobster grilled cheese that tasted better than a $40 one elsewhere, and finally the clams over linguini (a special, I think). All of the food was delicious, they clearly take pride in their work. We had a couple beers (not sure the price) and finished off with an Irish coffee and a spiked hot chocolate - both were perfect. What an unexpected but 5 star experience. Amazing food, friendly staff, and friendly regulars (they had us cracking up the whole time). Don't let the small space, or divey vibes throw you off - Reruns is a gem and we can't wait to go back!“

“In my opinion, this restaurant has the best food in the area. Im talking all of New Haven County and then some. Everything is absolutely delicious, the prices are very reasonable, and the atmosphere is great. Not to mention, customer service is great. I highly recommend. You won't be disappointed.“

“First time doing karaoke with Jimmy D Productions here. We had an awesome time. The Philly Cheesesteak egg rolls were good, drinks were excellent, and the staff was amazing. The place was packed! A much better atmosphere than Offshore where Jimmy was previously. The sound in the room was also great. Looking forward to going back for Karaoke again.“

“Family, it feels good to be the first to leave a review of this location! Now I pulled up and was. not sure as to when they would open because Google said one thing. / 5p but then their Instagram read another / 7p and something told me to pull up at 5:50p to see if. they would be open at 6p - I called and yes, they were open at 6p and so I went in to do my filming thing. The menu was not extensive but everything I read on the menu was something that I wanted to try outside of my Buffalo Wings and so I got a little crazy. I had ground turkey egg rolls to. start. They were not piping hot but hot enough to enjoy the packed turkey bite. with the onions and cheese that flooded the crispy egg roll. It was both thick and delicious and we had a few pieces of. joy to play with here. Along with a spicy maple sauce...wasn't sure if it was teriyaki in it or not but it was delicious. Moving along to these buffalo wings!! As mentioned in a google review, the skin is crispy, the buffalo sauce opened up my nostrils! That is how I knew the spice was so nice on this one and deep rooted. The chicken was hot and moist!! Tender with a decent amount of meat within. Each wings just kept getting better than the last. The flats were hitting all of the right notes on this musical masterpiece baby!! I hopped on over to the honey garlic wings!! Slightly sticky and sweet. The garlic was light in flavor but again, with these wings being cooked the right way not overcooked nor overlooked but understood and loved, I received the type of wings meant for champions. Those crispy French fries were also a nice salted up treat. Each bite of that fresh potato action, made me go back for more. They even came with a sweet yet spicy sauce. Maybe there was some sriracha in there for a kick? I am not sure but it was awesome!!! I even had the B. Side Burger, using the same teriyaki sweet sauce that came with my egg rolls and the beef was tender too.. It has a thickness about itself that worked well with that extra soft bun, straight potato bread style. I was quite impressed with this entire meal selection that I can't wait to go back for more!!!“

“Dive Bar is “my favorite place”, top of the list,cream of the crop. I’m a frequent regular and have shared my love for the Dive Bar with my close friends and family with “check in” pots and pictures since it’s inception twelve years ago. Chris and his Staff are top notch, so friendly and welcoming they make you feel right at home immediately. You can always catch a good ballgame or interact with Bar Bingo and enjoy some great music from talented musicians from time to time. If you know, you know ! If not? What are you waiting for? You gotta get here“

“This place is a hole in wall. And you know what they say about those. Hidden Gems.... The food was delicious, customer service was fantastic. Before we can finish our pitcher waitress was back to ask if we needed more or anything else in that matter. We were able to watch the Football game we wanted with the volume up to hear it. (reason for the 5). Only con wish the TVs were bit bigger and more to watch various games at once. Not saying there was not other but were far apart where i had to turn around which a way to quickly catch Red Zone or another game or Yanks game. All in all great place to go with FB crew. FYI not open Mondays currently. so MNF is no go. Maybe we can convince them to start. ;-)“

So you saying he is racist is uncalled for and insulting to a fellow Pacific Islander. I would suggest you learn the facts before you speak. My family and friends would continue to recommend Whiskey Barrel as it is a great establishment with great food and service. I want to thank the staff for all their hard work every single day.“

“The food is delicious. You will wait a bit but the staff checks on you to make sure you're okay or if you need refills on drinks. They're also very accommodating if you ask for something that isn't on thr menu. The atmosphere is cozy and welcoming.“

“I use to live in the neighborhood a few years back and this is the only bar I liked. I moved away 6 years ago but still go back there to eat whenever I'm in town. The drinks and food are great. The chef is not always there so call before you go if you want bar food. The Cheese fries with bacon are my fave. Bang for your buck :) Friendly staff.“
