The service however was a huge disappointment. After providing my name for the reservation, the host walked about 8 steps and then without speaking pointed to the table across the room where we were apparently supposed to sit. I asked for clarification, and he then muttered in annoyance that one by the window….

Next up, we were asked if we want still or sparkling water, I asked for a bottle of still.
We received tap water. I again asked for a bottle of still, we then received lime flavored tap water. Finally our server stepped in and clarified they do not have bottled still water, only filtered…
I do want to mention besides the host no one was rude, but the service in general just didn’t seem to keep up.“

I am admittedly a bit of a sandwich snob, and Michelle's porchetta special did NOT disappoint. As a matter of fact, she was so genuinely charming and sincere in her description of it, that all three of us ordered the exact same thing, and the full-size grinder at that. This was a BIG sandwich, even by my standards, and the components were all top-notch. Somehow, the meat was still juicy and tender, even sliced thin and griddled on the flat top. The provolone was melted nicely, and the marinated peppers had just enough bite to balance the richness. She gave us a cup of au jus for dipping as well, which was greatly appreciated. Taste and value aside, Michelle may just be the start of the show. Her hospitable kindness and welcoming spirit made the food even better, to the effect that we were already planning our next visit before we even left. “Loved this brewery!! Cute, clean space. We went on a Saturday afternoon and it was quite empty. We have a CT beer passport book that brought us there. Parking lot was a good size and easily accessible. The staff was so sweet and attentive. Seating was open and they served you at the table. A handful of beers on tap with a mix of options. They have a full menu and my boyfriend and I had the tacos - chicken and pulled pork, which were both delicious! Great sized portions. We also loved their logo, super cute design. I would love to see their space busier on a Saturday afternoon! If you drive by, consider stopping by for some great vibes.“

“Very solid 4 star experience overall. I spent about $36 on food plus a $5 tip for a pickup order last night while staying at the hotel next door. The food came out quickly, which was a big plus.

I ordered the West Coast Burger, a Jack Russell hot dog, seasoned curly fries, mac and cheese bites, and a cookie. The burger was excellent and easily the highlight of the meal. The Jack Russell hot dog was also very good, especially for only $6.

The rest of the order was a bit more mixed. I asked the cashier what the most popular items were and was told the seasoned curly fries for a side and mac and cheese bites. Unfortunately, neither lived up to the hype. The fries weren’t particularly seasoned and tasted pretty bland. The mac and cheese bites felt more like frozen appetizers than something made in house. For $10, six triangular mac and cheese bites felt underwhelming. To make it even stranger, they were served with ketchup instead of marinara sauce.

There were also a few small details that added up. My cookie was missing from the bag, the coleslaw came with the burger but no utensils were included, the napkins were smaller square cocktail napkins and some of the sides just didn’t match the quality of the burger.

That said, the burger alone is worth coming back for, the prices are reasonable, and the service was fast and convenient. Boss Burger is close to being a 5 star spot, but it’s missing some of the little details and consistency that would push it over the top.“

“Elis Sweet Bakery did an amazing job on the cake for my daughter’s graduation from the Bridgeport Police Academy! The cake was not only beautiful, but absolutely delicious. We also ordered cupcakes, and they were a huge hit with everyone.

We chose red velvet and chocolate, and both flavors were moist, rich, and perfectly balanced. You can truly taste the love and care that goes into their baking.

“I was craving a burrito. Not a chipotle burrito where they skimp on the ingredients, But a big voluptuous, tasty Burrito. Look no further. Despite the location being empty, it provided me the opportunity to witness manager and the staff who were training A new hire at the time provide exceptional service. Yeah, it’s just a chain restaurant, but the quality of the food and service was Exceptional. I Ordered the surf and turf burrito with white rice, black beans, guacamole, sour cream, and spicy salsa. I got this order to go in. The checkout process was straight Forward. The burrito with chips and queso as well as a large fountain drink came to about $27 with a 15% tip. Totally worth it. I had to double fist this thing because it was so big and delicious. I don’t live in Norwalk, but that was the closest location and most convenient at the time. Making it a meal- I added chips and spicy queso and a large soda. The chips were not stale and slightly salted, which vibed well with the queso. The Diablo queso wasn’t as spicy as advertised, but that’s OK. It served its purpose in between gigantic bites of the burrito. I was on my way home to Danbury and that Damn burrito was still warm after a 40 minute drive in traffic. Admittedly, The portion of meat, i.e. steak and shrimp could be a little more generous, but the overall quality and flavor of the combination I ordered was “peak.” I fully anticipate going back to this location to order the same thing.
Hopefully, the Qdoba executives of the world see this and acknowledge what a complementary review this is for this location and the staff that helped me there. Not trying to pull any favors, but a random acknowledgment of their promising success would be powerful. I will see you soon.“
