“My family and I were visiting family in Norwalk and were referred to Greens on the Go in New Canaan. We had an absolutely wonderful experience! The food was delicious. I personally enjoyed the Spring Bowl with Tofu, which was fresh, flavorful, and satisfying. I also tried the Pitaya Island and it was an absolute must-try – such a delightful treat! The owner, Alyssa, is very friendly and was an absolute pleasure to meet. Her warm hospitality made our visit even more special. If you're in the area, Greens on the Go is definitely worth a visit. We will be back for sure!“

“I’ve found it. The best way to blow through a paycheck over a single breakfast. Espresso and a pastry for $15…. But, somehow, I think I’ll be coming back. Love the communal atmosphere with great big heavy wooden tables and chairs. A number of 4 and 6 tops as well. Bright and airy open feel make this a lovely warm atmosphere to share a delicious espresso and pastry. Espresso was quite tasty but unfortunately served in a tiny paper cup - I guess I should have specified I was eating in. Nice nuttiness and a subtle bitterness and right up my alley. There were so many amazing looking pastries on display i really struggled to decide how to put back on all of the calories I just lost on my Peloton but eventually landed on the Chocolate Chip Cookie Croissant. And - holy smokes - it did not disappoint. The thing must weigh 8 ounces due to it being stuffed with chocolate chip cookie dough and a plethora of incredibly delicious molten chocolate. Incredibly naughty and delicious. Great spot to stop in for a pastry but they also have a larger menu with salads and breakfast specialties in addition to their lovely baked goods. Unreal!!“

“I had an event last week at Nod Hill Brewery in which we hosted over 50 international colleagues. We had a tour, a tasting and an awesome BBQ dinner from Walrus Alley! We topped the night off with Karaoke. They did such a fantastic job - I highly recommend NHB for your next gathering! I know I will be back ;)“

Negatives:
- Service did not match the atmosphere and the price point.

The service however was a huge disappointment. After providing my name for the reservation, the host walked about 8 steps and then without speaking pointed to the table across the room where we were apparently supposed to sit. I asked for clarification, and he then muttered in annoyance that one by the window….

Next up, we were asked if we want still or sparkling water, I asked for a bottle of still.
We received tap water. I again asked for a bottle of still, we then received lime flavored tap water. Finally our server stepped in and clarified they do not have bottled still water, only filtered…
I do want to mention besides the host no one was rude, but the service in general just didn’t seem to keep up.“

“Loved this brewery!! Cute, clean space. We went on a Saturday afternoon and it was quite empty. We have a CT beer passport book that brought us there. Parking lot was a good size and easily accessible. The staff was so sweet and attentive. Seating was open and they served you at the table. A handful of beers on tap with a mix of options. They have a full menu and my boyfriend and I had the tacos - chicken and pulled pork, which were both delicious! Great sized portions. We also loved their logo, super cute design. I would love to see their space busier on a Saturday afternoon! If you drive by, consider stopping by for some great vibes.“

We were also hoping to find somewhere with food (which can be tricky with a dog and indoors), open a bit early, and if possible, hoped to watch some EPL soccer games. It seemed like a long list of things we were hoping to find, and that we probably wouldn’t be able to find somewhere to meet it all… Then we found this place! Great atmosphere, dog friendly indoor and outdoor, food truck, opened early, AND had tvs with soccer on… couldn’t believe how lucky we were to find this! The drinks, food, and service were great. The attention to detail in each dish made it obvious the chef is passionate about what they create. The flavors were unique, the atmosphere upscale yet comforting, and the service was lovely. It's hard for us to find any good restaurants where we live so we drove 1 1/2 hours to check out Botanika. We were amazed at how delicious everything was...and we ordered 1burito, 2 wraps, 2 pulled jackfruit, mac n "cheese," and two (or three) of every dessert they had!
