“Went for date night with hubby and was very impressed. Atmosphere and food quality are both very important to me and Pearl comfortably checked all boxes. The menu is very concise and well curated to accommodate most needs yet I still had four very different options that I couldn’t decide between because they all
Sounded do delicious. Luckily our server was able to help narrow it down to two and I landed on the butternut squash ravioli. I know any of the options would have been perfect but seasonally this was the best choice. It was a perfect balance of sweetness from the poached pears and savory from browned butter. The textures also complimented each other well. The ravioli was a little al dente but not chewy; structurally important to balance the smooth squash inside and then the shaved Brussels sprouts had a nice crunch. My husband had the chicken tacos. Simple and delicious. Only suggestion he made was the salsa should have been less chilled or room temp for the flavors to come out a bit more. Definitely recommend for any occasion. Will be back to try the other options I couldn’t have this time.”

“I live in Branford and I've been going to Caius since they opened. These guys kill it every time I'm there. They have a great selection and are delegent about keeping a fresh rotation of new beers. Yes, they are a little more expensive than other brewers, but they are well worth the extra cost. Every barkeep I've dealt with knows the beers well and does a great job on correctly serving the right pours for their respective beer. If you're a beer lover, I would highly recommend this brewery.”

“I have been ordering takeouts at Il Forno for the past seven. I started with bacon and onions pizza which was great. I then changed to eggplant pizza and it has to be the best I have ever had. Now I have moved on to shrimp marinara with linguine and I can't tell you how great this dish is. The shrimp are so large and fresh and the sauce is excellent. The filet of sole must weigh at least 2 pounds and my husband gets it every week. The filet is enough for two meals and so is the shrimp. Thank you Il Forno for making our Friday takeout a special treat.”

“I came for breakfast with my partner. The breakfast sandwiches and donuts were amazing. The coffee and teas were good too. The only thing I have to say is that, I mean ingenious idea to put coffee ice cubes in the iced coffees but not a good idea to put them in a chai tea. I can’t really have coffee cause I have a really sensitive stomach so it was a little disappointing to realize there was coffee in my tea”

“Bean and Berry is a special place with a special owner that truly cares about the product she puts out and the service she provides. The coffee with nutella/peanut butter cold foam and the dragon fruit smoothie bowl are DELICIOUS! I’ve never had something I didn’t like. Give it a try and support local!”

“Ashely was so kind and accommodating! We came in on Sunday for lunch and we absolutely loved the food! Then we came in for my birthday and she was warm and welcoming! I love this place but Ashley made it so special!

“I buy a bag of beans. Whole beans, whole beans, I buy a bag of beans. I love African beans (Ethiopian most) as well as Indonesian. And...flowerless, chocolate pecan cookie/brownie crispy and gooey. Add to these cups to drink in store. Keep roasting please as Coffee is an essential commodity.”

“Ice cream was very good but expensive. Girl seemed overworked behind counter but still friendly. Place could be a tad cleaner. I would go back. They should put up signs saying milkshake station closes 15 minutes before closing so other customers don't complain on here.”

“Out of this world pastries! My family and I all have said that these are literally THE BEST specialty desserts, cookies, and pastries!
The taste is Amazing in each pastry. The Italian cream filled desserts blew me away!
The texture and sweetness of these are so balanced and mouth watering!
Everything I tried was absolutely delicious, and as fresh as can be.
Clean and nice atmosphere.
I forgot the lady's name, but each time, she is so helpful and was helpful with questions I had.

I went there three times within a few days. We had people visiting around Holidays, and they were hit!

Easy street parking on both sides of the road. Right in branford center area.

I highly recommend. Also fantastic for bringing a box to a get together, or for others when visiting.

Parking: Parking is free on both sides of the street. Each time I went, there were plenty of spots available. Although you may have to park a little down the street if it's super busy.
I had no issues at the times I went.

Kid-friendliness: Kid friendly to take kids. All desserts are behind counter, so they won't get to things. Plenty of space inside.”

“Love the new make over. The service and food are great!! However the noise level is so uncomfortable and the was not a full seating. So bad that the hostess had to go outside when answering the calls. Highly recommend sound proofing panels.”

“I am from Vermont came down here to see Tom Z. It’s good food good service I ordered a large breakfast but finished breakfast foods, but sadly I didn’t finish good coffee. Waitress wanted me out so waitress want more people come in to take my seat. Because I am using sign language talk to my iPhone to my friend that they think it’s waste time to sit too long. Forced me to leave Found out they don’t accept credit cards none. Only cash. I didn’t see any signs on entry door glass. It was on cashier very small sign”

“On Saturday, June 11th after my Mom’s Memorial service I brought 35 people to lunch. The waitstaff was well organized, very attentive, not to mention the food was OUTSTANDING!! Everyone ordered off the menu, drinks were served along with appetizers and dessert. We all ate at the same time which is hard to do with that many people. I would highly recommend Cafe Fiore in Branford, CT to anyone who is looking to have an event or just a nice lunch or dinner. They staff worked so well together that I gave them a 30% gratuity. Every single thing I've ordered from Benny J's has been excellent! Never once was my order the least bit shy of perfect. On top of the great quality of the food, Benny J's also gives you portions that end up being TWO big meals! And, somehow, the food is just as good the 2nd time! “I've been to many Five Guys in several states and usually, I love the burger but have issues with the fries - they're not crispy - EXCEPT for today. I was at this location and the fries were PERFECT - crispy outside and tender inside. I think this was my favorite french fry experience. Whatever you're doing, keep doing it. I'll be back. And let me just say I’ve been to dozens of smoothie kings across the US in almost every state that has them and this location might be the best one I’ve ever been to.

The first time was just a slice then had to bring home food for my husband and ordered the chicken parm and the chicken and broccoli. We loved it! “This is to cancel the review likely coming today from a man who clearly just wanted a free sandwich. We ordered the same thing, steak n cheese no peppers onions. The wait was average considering it was lunch rush and neither of us ordered ahead. I went in prepared for that, he apparently was not. Moments before his sandwich was coming off the grill (obvious by time elapsed and people remaining) he demanded a void. They were working to complete while asking the cook how long, she replied 30 seconds. He said I don't care void it. They handed them the sandwich and went to void it and he threw open the sandwich on a table to inspect it for (I assume) unwanted veggies. Almost mad it was made correctly he packaged it back up and went to storm out while huffing. She muttered quietly I was going to void it but ok. Or something to that affect, I could barely hear standing next to her, but he heard something from just outside the door, so came storming back in, and said no you know what melt the cheese. I was going to accept it then I heard your snarky comment. So they re grilled it (cause now time isn't an issue for him I guess). Voided the transaction, gave him his change back and he asked for their names so he could write a review later on. I don't know how the entire team maintained their composure but kudos to Jersey Mike's of Branford for today's rude encounter.”
