The atmosphere at the bar is excellent, with great lighting and music. I just stopped by for a quick bite. the portions were generous, and while the pork chop was a bit dry, everything else was great.
Small and cozy. Excellent service with a professional yet personal touch.
Hosted friends happy hour. Cozy window booth. Great cocktails and cheese board options. Highly recommend.

Pearl Bistro & Wine Bar is a staple favorite in Branford, offering a cute atmosphere inside and a one-of-a-kind outside patio for nice weather. The staff is very accommodating, friendly, and attentive. The drinks are by far the best around, with a great wine selection including the Ultraviolet. The food is fantastic—the truffle fries, steak frites, calamari, and one of the best burgers and fries are all delicious. The ambiance is perfect for dates, parties, and happy hour, with music, trivia, and events. However, some reviews note that the quality has gone down since they first opened, with less generous pours and prices remaining the same. During a larger party, the experience felt uncomfortable and abrupt as dishes and water glasses were cleared before payment. Despite this, many highly recommend Pearl for celebrations like Mother’s Day and birthdays.
