“I feel like the quality has gone down Since they first opened, Although much has improved since then
like they have a full dinner menu. The pours seem less generous, but prices have remained the same, so I guess that is the alternative to raising the price of a glass. That said, during our last visit we were a larger party (about 10), and it felt like we were being rushed out. I understand there may have been another reservation coming up, but they began clearing every dish and even water glasses before we had paid, and we were done, drinking and eating, which made the experience feel uncomfortable and abrupt.“

“I came the other night to check out a show there, and had a Dirty Chai and a Muffin. The Dirty Chai was the best I've had in New Haven so far. It's a nice place, but I wouldn't say it's an easy place to see a show. It's a very narrow space and it crowded badly enough that I got uncomfortable after the 2nd set and left, but if I came back for a show I know to come early.. the regulars pack the place out!“

“A lot of other reviews mention the atmosphere for good reason - the vibe is unexpectedly cool. Dirty martinis are my go-to drink and Michael made me the best one I’ve ever had. He was very welcoming and attentive and gave great recommendations for my second drink. I’ll definitely be returning.“

“We stopped by for lunch and had the best hamburgers that we have ever eaten. The french fries were unbelievable and were perfectly cooked. The hamburgers were very flavorful. The atmosphere was incredible and the wait staff did an amazing job. Joseph, the owner, came out and spoke with us, and we told him that these were the best hamburgers we ever had. If you love hamburgers, then this is a destination location for you. The food is that good! You will not be disappointed!!!“

“Catering Party @ Sally’s Apizza Fairfield On Saturday September 13, 2025, we celebrated our 50th Wedding Anniversary. The food, service and staff were phenomenal. We all know how great the pizza is, but the appetizers and salads were equally great. I can’t say enough about the wonderful servers, Dan and Brandon. There were efficient, kind, friendly and polite. They went out of their way to insure everyone was having a great time. The bartenders and other staff went a long way to help make everyone enjoy the party. I also want to thank the General Manager, James Layfield and the Catering Manager, Helen Blanchard for their exceptional service and hospitality.
