“I've been coming to P&M deli for years. At least dince the 90s. It's changed a lot since it first opened. The food is still excellent. The staff is always friendly. It started out as a take out lunch place. Now it has some tables inside and outside. I don’t live in Ct anymore but when i visit I need to stop for lunch.“

“I wasn't so sure about this place bc it just a gas station at first glance. Once you get inside you still won't be impressed. The service is fast, you better be ready when you get to the counter during the lunch rush. Your reward will be an amazing lunch, grab a table outside if it's nice.“

This is my go to spot when I work in the area. I always get the same thing, once I walk in they already know my order (pastrami sub, with grilled onions, lettuce, extra Swiss cheese, mayo and mustard)

“Everyone talks about Sally's or Frank Pepe's apizza here and there but frankly the best pizza I've had in New Haven so far is from this spot. They do take forever to make your pizza on busy days, regardless it is well worth waiting for. I'm assuming the pizza would be less expensive if they didn't charge so much for toppings. The pizzas are huge, plan accordingly with a group of buddies instead of ordering a whole pie for yourself. Would say the same of the calzone, which a friend got“
“Just tried this joint for the 1st time ever and mannnnn...This is the type of independent Italian American deli that would make John Gotti shed a tear. One of the best Italian combos I've ever had in my lifetime. The amount of sandwich that this one man serves you for $10 should be the national standard for America. Last of a dying breed and I put that on Jesus sandals. I'd give this mf 6 stars if google would let me. God Bless.“

“MY FIANCE WAS THERE ON 3/4/26 & GOT A LARGE HAM AND CHEESE SUB.. HE GAVE ME HALF AND IT'S DELICIOUS.. IT HAD LETTUCE, TOMATOES, CHEESE, PURPLE ONIONS BUT I TOOK MINDS OFF, PEPPER & MAYO! “It's a little neighborhood shop near St. Raphael's hospital. I walked there and had a bologna egg and cheese sandwich. bologna wild not normally be my first thought on a breakfast sandwich but it was in the menu so I tried it. I little salty, and not very healthy, but it was grilled and got and delicious.“

“My first time here today. Chipotle was closed down by the Health Department. Rats I guess according to another customer at the Marketa. The deli was packed with students after high school but the gentleman up front asked me if I wanted deli and he expedited my order. I would recommend doing business here.“

“I’m not a regular patron of the old B&M deli but I can say I have tasted the old VS new and coming from another town, I am proud to say that the shoes have been filled! The quality and dedication that the new owners bring surpasses any deli nearby.( I can only speak within my parameters) we can all talk about quality meats which many places lack. Even your local markets! but If you’re hungry and want a savory sandwich/burger then this is your place! My fav’s are the Bacon Egg&Cheese And STK & cheese on a hard roll🤗“

“Stopped by looking for a snack and man did Amanda deliver. I got the chicken bacon ranch on a grinder and a side of pasta salad. This is honestly one of the best CBR I’ve had.The chicken is super moist, coupled with heaps of crispy smoked bacon, which you can really taste. The ranch gives a creamy base layer that ties in the thick cuts of lettuce and tomatoes. This is all gift wrapped in a layer of cheddar cheese. The bread was crispy and held the insides of this sub together, without leaking through.I’ll be back to try the whole rest of the menu, you should too!“

“Pastrami & Cheese 11.55$ for the full sub was extremely hot and cheesy, was out in less than 5 mins.
Only thing that caught me off guard is the pastrami is cut small and cubed instead of big slices. It is not as salty, so tasted closer to ham, but still delicious. Will be back to try steak and cheese.“
