11 Best Delis in West Haven

“Traveling through the city of West haven. Was told to eat at corsos. Small place mom and pop style. Believe they are brother and sister that run this location. Great talk. Great service. Sandwich was GREAT.. most critics that I have encountered don't do sandwiches but this one I enjoyed. Good place to eat.“

“The best!! If you haven’t gone what are you waiting for?? RUNNN!! Everything is delicious!!👌🏼“

“So I typically have a great sandwich here, but the other day I placed an order over the phone for my grandfather’s birthday, and when I showed up too early to pick up the order I thought I heard they didn’t have one type of meats for the ‘Sweet Italian Combo’ (of course my grandfather’s sandwich, out of all of them ordered). I thought nothing of it as nobody said a word to me from behind the counter. Grabbed the orders and paid, get home and it was a grilled chicken sandwich with ham (random combination) BUT was labeled as the Sweet Italian. It all made sense now, and I was not mistaken from what I heard. The Provy Brother’s would of never of pulled that ‘stunt’ and would have been transparent that they did not have the available meat(s) for the sandwich instead of making whatever they decided AND labelling it as the requested sandwich when it was not. Yes, the sandwich was still good, but imagine my grandfather’s surprise on his 86th birthday that his favorite sandwich he ordered from his favorite sandwich shop was not what he ordered or wanted on his special day. Please don’t EVER do that again to anyone. That was messed up and you all know what you did. And yes, we will give you all another chance as your sandwiches are always great. Just please be honest to your loyal customers.“

“great buffalo shrimp wrap“

“There is just something so magical about the way she makes the steak and cheese. I feel as though she pours her heart and soul into each sandwich. Every explosive bite is better than the next and you can actually TASTE the love. 10/10 would highly recommend. Although, be sure to watch out for tiny short man as he literally does the opposite. His sandwiches are filled with hate and resentment. I’m not sure why he is always so mad at me and my friends but I won’t deduct a star for his lack of kindness. The wonderful lady makes up for all aspects of his negativity and for that I give West Haven Krauszers 5 stars.“
