“Fabulous food, wonderful atmosphere and great staff. Noise was a bit loud, but being in a booth made all the difference. Our waiter was great, but very busy and he had a lot of tables so it took awhile to order. He was great after that - very attentive and many other helpers. Our 3rd time there and definitely my favorite spot in New Haven!!!“
“A dessert shop known for soft serve and high prices but justifies its cost with extremely quality dessert.Would definitely recommend getting more than just a soft serve such as the ice cream with cookie simply because combinations items are better and you will have a much better experience2nd in dessert only to Elm St. Diner***Ice cream + cookie = A brown butter chocolate toffee cookie with a hint of espresso is a rare find and exemplifies the sophistication of flavors in each of their items. Definitely a flagship itemBrownie Haven = An interesting flavor which may not be appealing to all flavor pallets but definitely delicious“
“My first time having crumbl was breast cancer awareness week, and I drove an hour to try and support it was amazing and it’s a ritual to go to crumbl on the best weeks as often as I can, the atmosphere was great and they never disappointed me will continue to go!“
“We love Arethusa! Best ice cream in downtown New Haven - you need to try their seasonal flavors, especially the new hazelnut with chocolate espresso beans . The seasonal pumpkin flavor is also excellent, and the sweet cream flavor is also always a go-to. Pro-tip: You can get one scoop split into two flavors - just ask! I only wish that they were open later because sometimes I crave ice cream past 8 pm!“
“Such a good experience! I love ashleys its my favorite ice cream shop ever. And their black raspberry ice cream is unbelievable my favorite flavor ever. And I hate raspberries. They staff is decent they could be nicer is my only feedback. Sometimes they look like they hate their job. This location doesn't have outdoor seating just in case the one in branford does though! It's retro style and cute.Vegetarian options: All vegetarianDietary restrictions: All dairy heavyParking: Its right by Yale the parking is impossibleKid-friendliness: Decent for kids but almost no seating so get takeoutWheelchair accessibility: It's fairly open a bit cramped for a wheelchair“
“The staff were kind to a first-time visitor whose brain was fried from a day of travel.I tried the black & white milkshake. Pretty sure it made me see God.If Google Maps guides you through Green Garden St, skip that step; it's a tiny little road that unnecessarily loops you through a residential area. You can directly access the parking lot through Gerrish Ave.“
“Ice cream is good, however when I asked if possible to get one scoop half/half they do not allow to mix two flavors in one scoop. You have to buy two scoops.Scoops are really big and one scoop is pretty enough.it would be nice to taste two flavors in one.Price for one scoop is about $5Outdoor space and tables not very clean.“
“Loved this place! Stopped by to check it out while just passing by. Ordered a slice of cheese pizza, $3. The pizza was great! We also got the meatball sub. That was good too. Loved the atmosphere and prices are great. Was able to have a meal for 2 for less than $20. That's with chips and drinks. Recommend ! Lady running it was nice!!“
“We stopped by today after a long walk- the arrangements were fantastic. The flavors are listed outside on an A frame sign, lots of clear, easy to read signs about how to order. Staff was super friendly and happy to help. The kids enjoyed the ice cream! :) Thank you guys! Nicely done! :)“
“On these hot days- ice cream is amazing. Dairy Queen offers an assortment of different kinds of ice cream. I had an oreo/ bownie Blizzard & loved it. My husband likes the cherry dilly bars. I was shocked @ how cheap an entire box of dilly bars was. Another favorite is vanilla on cone w/ rainbow sprinkles. Friday nights in North Branford they have classic carnight @ Dairy Queen. Great people awesome cars & ice cream. How can you go wrong.“
“Ben & Jerry's in New Haven, Connecticut is a family-run, locally owned and operated ice cream shop that has been serving up delicious scoops since 2012. The shop is located in the heart of downtown New Haven, just a short walk from Yale University and the New Haven Green. The Ben & Jerry's in New Haven is a popular spot for locals and tourists alike. “Stopped by 1 afternoon for some traditional Mexican and this place did not disappoint. It is a mid size spot in the center of town in Wallingford. When you walk there are about 6 tables with the person taking orders by the register. The place is super casual and the girl working on the front super friendly. We had burritos and tostadas which were very good. The burrito which was what I had was super big and flavorful. Burritos are one of those meals that you can't go wrong with. The tostadas were what you would expect, crunchy with lots of toppings. Definitely a place to stop by while in Wallingford.“
“Always so fresh and warm each cookie I’ve gotten over the last 4 years. The staff are friendly. I was able to get a sample of a vegan chocolate cookie which I’d never usually try on my own and been hooked ever since thank you. Always quick as well, and the location is great so many things to explore and experience but even better ending the night with freshly baked cookies from you guys.“
“THE BEST ICE CREAM EVER!!!!! Literally ruined ice cream living in nyc I now am obsessed with Ashley's. Especially their blackberry ice cream flavor. And I don't even like blackberries but this is my new favorite flavor. You have to try it. It's delicious creamy and so so addicting. Defintely get a milkshake in my opinion thats the best way to experience it. I literally sometimes get 2. My one feedback is the staff is usually teenagers who hate their job and aren't very nice. I've been working since I was 16 and Defintely never had attitude but they do. But it's worth it for the ice cream. This spot is my favorite still because it has the outdoor seating available across from the green it's the cutest.Vegetarian options: It's all vegetarian!Dietary restrictions: Dairy heavy be prepared to pay the priceParking: It's right across the green so parking is difficultKid-friendliness: Perfect for kids!Wheelchair accessibility: Lots of space for your wheel chair !“
