“It's difficult to explain my awe at the level of service Eric provides. I don't expect to find the devotion to the customer here in the '20s. It resembles what I had expected in the '60s. Let me try, though. An order that had gone amiss was replaced and another order were delivered on his day off. Above and beyond, I know. The single origin beans are selected and roasted to a consistently high level. While I do play around with light and medium roast espresso and pour-over, The Black Kat Espresso and the Dark Moon Mexican Decaf are exquisite. You won't go wrong with either; very forgiving of the recipe. I think I have found my roaster for life.”

“I had Sour Diesel at a bar in Glastonbury and it was so good that I drove to New Haven to go to the brewery! The facility (The Beeracks) was a great place to sit and have some tasters! The atomosphere people, and building were great!!!”

“The signature dish, Bandeja Paisa, was excellent. It’s always the first thing one should order at a Colombian restaurant. I also enjoyed that they had Club Colombia malt beverage; I enjoy these types of drinks and they aren’t always available at all places. Next time, I’ll try some of their baked goods.

I also enjoyed the atmosphere; it was fun to watch the telenovela on the tv while I was eating. The service was also friendly.”

“My family orders Minervini almost every Friday! The only pizza my youngest daughter will eat. They just changed their chicken fingers and my oldest daughter and I think the new ones are even better! I’m a picky eater and they’re probably sick of my special orders 🤣 but always accommodating. Highly recommend!!”

“I didn't have any gelato, but I did have something from the desert case, the chocolate trilogy, it was so delicious. Reminiscent of a triple chocolate cake from whole foods before whole foods became terrible. I was actually pleasantly surprised I finished the whole thing. I didn't think I was going to eat the whole thing, but I couldn't stop myself. This place is dangerous”

“The food was tasty and fairly priced. Lots of original recipes and overall lots of healthy options. I highly recommend getting takeout from here. You can dine in but most staff don’t speak English (Spanish only) which wasn’t my case. They had a soccer match playing on screen which was entertaining but a bit too loud”

“Angelica came through for me in a pinch. I only gave her a couple days notice for a cake I wanted to order for my sister’s 66th Birthday. Angelica, it was delicious and enjoyed by all!!! Angelica and her husband also delivered it to me in North Haven. The cake was an 8 inch 3 tier marble cake with chocolate mousse filling and chocolate buttercream frosting. I definitely recommend, Thanks again Angelica!!!”

“I honestly am ashamed to say that I’ve lived in East Haven for 22 years and have never had Tollis pizza. Some friends and I were getting together and we were talking about restaurants to go to, and I had mentioned that I had never tried Tollis. We decided to give it a go. And I have never been happier with a decision ever! We had the white clam pizza, we had the Amalfi pizza. And I couldn’t decide which was my favorite. My friends had the Bolognese sauce, which the waitress brought a little bowl so they could try it with some bread before they ordered their entrée! Nice touch! It was fantastic! Our waitress was super attentive, very friendly, we were near where they were making the pizzas and it was fun to watch. An all-around great experience highly highly recommend.!!!!!”
