“The only bad thing about this place is that I didn't learn about it sooner! My wife and I checked it out for the first time this week and we were blown away.The vibe was impeccable: equal parts cozy and spooky. The decor was gorgeous, especially the plates, clothes, and embroidery which reminded me of stories I'd heard about my great-grandparents growing up. Our waitress was so kind and made us feel at home right away. I don't think I've ever smiled so much at a restaurant.The food was delicious and I really appreciated how they leaned into the vampire themes. (I'm a sucker for that ?♂️?) When our waitress asked if it was our first time there, I said it was and that we wanted to try something new since it was my birthday. Totally forgot I mentioned that bit till we were looking over the dessert menu and she comes in with another woman carrying their trademark dessert (Vlad the Impaler) and singing "Happy Birthday". So sweet and absolutely made my day!Absolutely worth the hour drive it took us. We will definitely be back!”

“Hoax is a one of a kind brewery. When it comes to their sour ales, pale ales , or lagers. My personal favorite is their Sad Boi Lager. The Hoax Folks put lots of hard work and care into everything they do. It’s the only beer I drink. If you’re in Connecticut , grab some Hoax!”
“I kind of stumbled over this restaurant and I'm so glad I did !!! I have been here approx 4 times and every time the meal has been delicious, from the very friendly waitstaff. Every time I have been here we have ordered the hot antipasto which included two baked stuffed shrimp, two stuffed mushrooms, and two clams casino, along with the appetizer came a warm basket of homemade bread with butter. We had the New England Clam chowder and it was perfect I had a veal dish with mushrooms and prosciutto over noodles. Perfect did I say fresh mushrooms my brother had the zuppe di pesce, which he totally enjoyed. He got it without the calamari and another basket of warm bread. If you're looking for delicious Italian food with a very friendly waitstaff this is the place to go. I almost didn't write this review as I don't want to see the place over crowded lol but it's well deserved. We were there last night and will be back again. Very cute place inside”
“Great venue! Love the setup, lots of little nooks for conversation. There was a water dispenser out with cups which was great, I would love to see more bars that host live music have this. Good staff, and the entertainment was excellent. Will definitely return!”

“We rented the little Italy pizza truck for my boyfriends 30th birthday, and we couldn’t be happier! First of all I’d like to point out that the party was in the back field of a farm, that had a very rough dirt road in and out. Luigi came out a few days prior to scope out the place, and said it wouldn’t be a problem. It DOWNPOURED the whole day of our party, so we were nervous about him being able to get down, not only did he make it down the dirt road all the way to the party, they showed up with smiles on their face and got right to work making their delicious pizzas! Everyone couldn’t stop talking about how good the pizza and service was. We had enough to feed over 75 people, and even had enough so people could bring some home with them. Luigi and his crew were so nice and we are so grateful for everything they did to make the party a huge success. 10/10 recommend their services!”

I been going to the deli since I was super young my grandparents lived on Gerrish Ave and we are now in the same house so The deli is definitely are go to store. Love Nam and Aum if u want an amazing cold cut sandwich this is your place you won’t be disappointed like stop n go where they put two pieces of meat. Not the deli though they load it up.”
“It's difficult to explain my awe at the level of service Eric provides. I don't expect to find the devotion to the customer here in the '20s. It resembles what I had expected in the '60s. Let me try, though. An order that had gone amiss was replaced and another order were delivered on his day off. Above and beyond, I know. The single origin beans are selected and roasted to a consistently high level. While I do play around with light and medium roast espresso and pour-over, The Black Kat Espresso and the Dark Moon Mexican Decaf are exquisite. You won't go wrong with either; very forgiving of the recipe. I think I have found my roaster for life.”
