“This restaurant was well worth the hour drive to get there. They served the best potato salad I have ever had - & trust me I have tried hundreds of them in my long life. The vegetable dinner option I enjoyed today was perfect. I highly recommend the cabbage, black eye peas, and Caribbean rice along with the amazing potato salad. And I must add that the moist, scrumptious, and famous corn bread couldn’t have been better. Sandra’s is a place I will return to. I’m a vegetarian newbie who’s grateful for the nutritious, delicious food and the sweet and friendly service at this gem of a place.“

“I tried Ricky’s D Rib Shack today for the first time. His chopped chicken with Mac and Cheese, baked beans and cornbread were delicious! Also, his brisket with potato salad and collard greens were very good too!“

“Had takeout! The wait time was an hour for pickup, but it was worth the wait. The pride in the dishes was seen and presented beautifully even for takeout. Everything we order was delicious and substantial portions. Who knew Chicken and French Toast works! Shrimp and Grits were great too. Spicy Chicken looked so delicious and heard it was but the name spicy is accurate! Will definitely order again.“
