“I always wanted to order from here…. I got the plain fried rice with Chicken broccoli ?.. it was delicious I also got some Chicken wings I love them as well very juicy … however, I was not too crazy for the shrimp egg rolls… they were not crispy n had an after taste to them … not sure if the oil is frequently changed … it taste it kinda oily n stale n they were not crispy at all and I forgot to ask for soy sauce n hot sauce n they did not included a few packs , normally when I order from other places , they include some soy sauce whether i ask for it or not… but the rice with Chiken brócoli ? n wings were very tasty n delicious ?.. the driver was very friendly n fast service … I would come here again but I would not be getting the egg rolls from here… was kinda disappointed with the egg rolls!!!“
“The place has been spruced up a bit great place to sit and recharge literally...body and tech gadgets. Ordering togo for delivery...my job does it constantly order through the app and THEY NEVER EVER EVER GET THE ORDER RIGHT. I keep suggesting to pickup the order my boss is convinced they gonna get it right..one day“
“Rare find! From the moment we walked in, we were made to feel welcomed. From the food to the amazing staff, it was all delicious and well made. The martini, mojito, and Shirley temple were all flavorful. We loved the chicken wings. My boys couldn't get enough of the fries. It was all topped off with three amazing desserts. We will be back!“

“So this place is a little gold mine. Does a great business with a mass of loyal local customers. Inside it's dated and a bit dirty. Very limited seating. Food is ordinary and reminds me of something that would come out of an average family's kitchen. I ordered a simple egg sandwich on rye toast with a large coffee and the bill was $8.16!!! Are you kidding me??? Way overpriced for what I got!!“
“I have been to this restaurant twice since it has opened and can’t recommend it enough. The quality of food is something to talk about. Recently went to celebrate seeing an old friend after quite some time and could not have had a better experience. From start to finish we felt special and taken care of. “I ordered, via Uber eats, the Southside Pho with duck, seafood combo and vegetables. Wow! The broth is so authentic! The duck had crispy skin, the scallop was U12, the shrimp was easily U16, and there were 4! The calamari was beautiful, and fresh, crispy veggies:carrot, broccoli, snap peas, mushrooms, bean sprouts. Simply superb!! I asked for extra bean sprouts and Thai basil. Ordered their homemade garlic chili oil and lime on the side. This was wonderful! Now my go to for Pho, and I work in New Haven, so there are plenty of Pho options, but no competition/comparison...well done South Side Thai, well done! I'll be back!!“

“Ordered from their website which was super easy and convenient. We ordered drunken noodles, pad woosen, thai bubble tea and the mango juice. Everything was packaged nicely and was ready upon arrival. Even after getting home the food was not mushy at all! The drunken noodles were spicy and super flavorful. The pad woosen was loaded with veggies. Will be back again!“
“A guy at work slipped me a Colombian cheese bun one morning and I’ve thought about it everyday since. I went at noon. It’s still amazing but I’d suggest getting it as close to out of the oven as possible. I can’t wait to go though the rest of there menu.“

“This place has freshest and tastiest Chinese consistently. Wings are NOT old and dry and their dishes are not drenched in oil salt like many others. My favorite Singapore Rice Noodle has savory curry flavor and "wok hei". Its not just ingredients mixed together in a bowl, it's high fire stir fry. Identifying wok hei is like real smoked BBQ vs liquid smoke flavoring. ?️“

“I literally can’t believe how incredible the food was. This is what casual Chinese used to taste like back in the day. It was as if I was a child tasting boneless spare ribs and crab rangoon for the very first time.. The spare ribs were charred and tender and the rangoon was made with actual crab as opposed to the typical “crab flavored” cream cheese. The pork fried rice was also remarkably flavorful with large cubes of pork and perfectly cooked onion. Those who have complained about the food specifically must be miserable Karens. This is my new favorite casual Chinese spot. 10/10“
“We order take out and we had boneless spare ribs and broccoli in brown sauce pork fried rice . The only disappointment was the e Gf rolls very greasy they didn't sit on a rack long enough .. normally they are very good . The broccoli and Shrimp very good and nice size shrimp .. “I absolutely love this little piece of East Haven. It absolutely represents East Haven and everything that makes it great. It has amazing Italian food, a sweet dessert section and hot chicken wings. The young employees there fit the culture perfectly. They are young, caring and nice. I have eaten here even though I typically take out. They have three little tables to eat at and a cute outdoor section to eat at.“

“I have to say I’m so impressed by Pho Thai! This hidden gem is right in plain sight on Orange Street. You HAVE to go on a Friday night when they do their braised lamb shank special - it’s by far the best lamb I’ve ever had in my life. It’s so tender and flavorful! It’s available for dine in only every Friday. We tried a variety of their most popular menu items and weren’t disappointed by any of them. The staff was very attentive with the food coming out quickly, and the restaurant had a nice vibe, especially near the coffee bar with some hanging, swaying chairs. We even had a couple lattes before we left and were impressed by the quality. I would definitely come back here!“
