“I only stopped here to see the venue as a possible wedding venue for my daughter as I waited to watch her flight from HVN Tweed fly back South. I drove from Hartford area to take her to the airport at Tweed and I figured I go to the beach to watch here Avelo flight depart. I walked around the grounds at Anthony’s , although covered in snow, it was very well maintained. Top notch everything from the lights to the gardens, the brick and stone work , they even had a koi fish pond that is stunning with lights everywhere on the property. A couple of gazebos with stunning views of the sunset as a backdrop. Absolutely a stunning place right on the Long Island Sound, Morris Cove I believe is what it is called. Very stunning. Definitely must see it in person to fully grasp how amazingly stunning the place is. Everything is perfection here. Even glass doors along the walled off outdoor area to get to the beach. A perfect place for a reception of any kind with plenty of space. I was amazed at how big the outdoor sections are. So many people can enjoy the outdoors at this venue with nice gardens, tables and chairs and Luxury seating available.
I could only imagine what it would look like without snow covering everything and the gardens in full bloom. I went on there we sit and noticed they do more than just weddings. They have several events throughout the year. There is an exotic dinner to attend, an Easter Buffet to bring your family to, dinner with Mickey & Minnie, a Halloween Party and other events.
This would be a great place for any kind of reunion or event. A very special place. The town around is very nice as well.
Right by the Tweed airport HVN in New Haven so very convenient for people to fly to in order to attend any event.
I would absolutely love to attend a party or event here.

“Shaken and Stirred did a phenomenal job catering our wedding. They were happy to do some custom items by request and all the items were crowd pleasers. We decided to go with Stations instead of a sit-down dinner. Their presentation was amazing and got you excited to eat before the first bite, which was great. Their staff was attentive and friendly. Their bartenders were a lot of fun and went above and beyond the call of duty. One of the owners was overseeing the event himself and made sure it all came together. Highly recommended.“

Not only is their food flavorful, their staff is super friendly. I can’t thank Ohioma enough for his help. He made me feel at ease. If you choose to go with Afro-Tina, you will be in good hands. Atmosphere was very casual with people coming in and out, kids playing in front, and a lot of conversation between customers, management, and kitchen staff. Very neighborly place with friendly service and great food.“
