“I first saw Moon Rocks Gourmet Cookies at a craft show at the High Plains Community Center. I tried a sampler of six (out of the eight available) flavors: • Traditional chocolate chip • Salted caramel • S'mores • Cannoli • Blueberry lemon • Orange creamsicle The other flavors were oatmeal raisin walnut and peanut butter chocolate chip. The six flavors I had were absolutely amazing. The cookies were light and flavorful, absolutely delicious. They make gift baskets too, so you can share the goodness. Highly recommended.“

I thought I had seen everything possible on a pizza but there pizza topping combos were different, fresh and above all, delicious. “Bourassa went above and beyond our expectations throughout the entire wedding planning process and wedding day. The communication and planning was thorough and organized and made sure nothing went unaccounted for. The tasting was incredible with some many amazing options to choose from, it was honestly hard to pick because everything was so amazing. Leading up to the wedding the team made sure every detail was covered, making sure all guests had safe options despite multiple allergies and sensitivities. It put our mind at ease knowing all of our guests could easily find something safe and delicious to eat. The food and service on our wedding day was beyond our expectations. The staff were attentive to guest needs, the food and drinks were incredible, and everything was handled with the utmost professionalism. Most couple often say they barley have time to eat on their wedding day, and this couldn't be further from the truth for us. “Our wedding at Amarante's was a dream come true. Truly. The manager Dominic was exceptionally professional. I felt like our wedding was the only one he was working on! I don't know how he does it. “I only stopped here to see the venue as a possible wedding venue for my daughter as I waited to watch her flight from HVN Tweed fly back South. I drove from Hartford area to take her to the airport at Tweed and I figured I go to the beach to watch here Avelo flight depart. I walked around the grounds at Anthony’s , although covered in snow, it was very well maintained. Top notch everything from the lights to the gardens, the brick and stone work , they even had a koi fish pond that is stunning with lights everywhere on the property. A couple of gazebos with stunning views of the sunset as a backdrop. Absolutely a stunning place right on the Long Island Sound, Morris Cove I believe is what it is called. Very stunning. Definitely must see it in person to fully grasp how amazingly stunning the place is. Everything is perfection here. Even glass doors along the walled off outdoor area to get to the beach. A perfect place for a reception of any kind with plenty of space. I was amazed at how big the outdoor sections are. So many people can enjoy the outdoors at this venue with nice gardens, tables and chairs and Luxury seating available.
I could only imagine what it would look like without snow covering everything and the gardens in full bloom. I went on there we sit and noticed they do more than just weddings. They have several events throughout the year. There is an exotic dinner to attend, an Easter Buffet to bring your family to, dinner with Mickey & Minnie, a Halloween Party and other events.
This would be a great place for any kind of reunion or event. A very special place. The town around is very nice as well.
Right by the Tweed airport HVN in New Haven so very convenient for people to fly to in order to attend any event.
I would absolutely love to attend a party or event here.

“We worked with Karen and her amazing team including her talented head chef Tess for our wedding in Summer 2024, and I literally could not recommend them more highly. We had a complex multi-cultural wedding and we wanted to do something special for our food, so floated the idea of Korean-style rice bowls with delicious mains and tons of vegetables and sauces to Karen. To our delight, she was super energized by the idea and SKBT did everything they possibly could to ensure that our food was absolutely phenomenal and unique, down to the tiniest of details. They also made their own vegan kimchi, which my Korean family complimented highly. Over and over again we heard from our guests how the food was the best they’ve had at a wedding, and one dear friend said, “this isn’t wedding food, this is HUMAN food” which is exactly what we wanted. “Having an outside party? THIS is the best food truck to hire! Today, June 21,2025, I’m at my niece’s graduation party & this food truck was amazing! It’s like having a personal restaurant on your lawn. The pizza was fantastic -THE BEST- actually! Frank made me a gluten free pizza with potato, bacon & carmelized onions. Oh my goodness! It has to be the BEST GF pizza I have ever eaten in my life. Super thin, well cooked! I can’t say enough good things about this pizza. He made all types of pizza. Very organized, clean and so delicious! Wonderful people to talk to! Then they have other services like Gelato Giuliana-between the pizza and the gelato-it is the best of New Haven! “Shaken and Stirred did a phenomenal job catering our wedding. They were happy to do some custom items by request and all the items were crowd pleasers. We decided to go with Stations instead of a sit-down dinner. Their presentation was amazing and got you excited to eat before the first bite, which was great. Their staff was attentive and friendly. “One of our first weddings was at the stunning Aria, and we’ve had the good fortune of working there as full-time wedding photographers over several years now. When you first walk in to the space you are taken aback by the size and scope of the elegant surroundings. We particularly love the staircases and how everything can be used for photography of the couple or as a group. It’s so important to be able to move around freely and get creative with angles for posed and documentary photography, and the space makes this possible. The exclusivity and scope of the venue helps a couple feel very special on their day with so many facets of the property to enjoy in and out. We have yet to photograph a wedding in the new chapel, and we are as excited as anyone to book our first ceremony there soon. Aria also allowed us to do a Christmas fashion photoshoot in their spectacular entrance area with all their beautiful decor, and winter is definitely an incredible season to have a wedding here. Suffice it to say their communication and efforts are superb. Aria has such a deep staff that is always assisting couples, guests, and us as vendors, and I am struggling to recall a time where there was any major issue during any of our weddings. The food is also amazing, but that's an accolade I list second solely because it's worth really highlighting the unparalleled integrity and thoughtfulness this company operates with, from the top down.
