The layout is functional, parking is easy, and there is plenty of room for vendors to set up and guests to move around comfortably. The large windows bring in a lot of natural light during the day, and the staff always seem accustomed to handling events of all sizes.

It may not have the unique character of some of Connecticut's smaller estate venues, but if you're looking for a venue that can handle a large guest list and keep things running smoothly, Aqua Turf does exactly that.“

“We had an absolutely incredible experience working with Carmela Marie. We set up a tasting to try the foods we were envisioning for our wedding, and everything was amazing from the very beginning. At the tasting, the food exceeded our expectations and gave us so much confidence going into the big day.

Janalynne was extremely thorough, helpful, and clearly very experienced. Leading up to the wedding, she asked all the right questions and made the entire planning process easy and organized. She was so easy to work with, as was the chef, and the entire staff was kind, professional, and attentive.

I also had dietary restrictions (dairy-free, gluten free, nut free), and they were very accommodating and made sure I had delicious options without ever feeling limited or left out.

On the wedding day, the food was absolutely delicious. We had numerous guests come up to us saying it was some of the best wedding food they’ve ever had. The cocktail hour food was a huge hit, especially the cocktail meatballs—everyone raved about them.

From a bride’s perspective, everything felt completely seamless. The team worked quickly and efficiently behind the scenes, keeping everything clean and running smoothly without us ever having to think about it. We are so grateful for how easy and perfect they made the experience! Definitely use them!!!“

“My experience with Emily’s catering was wonderful from start to finish. The tasting was wonderful and they were very collaborative, they adjusted their typical summer menu to include short rib at our request. Additionally they were courteous to our large number of sober guests and served sparkling cider for the toast, they thoughtfully left us a bottle to take home with our cake! All of our wedding guests raved about the food after and were very impressed with the quality. At many weddings guests wait around hungry for dinner after cocktail hour but Emily’s Catering’s expert serving timing eliminated that issue. Overall the team was communicative, accommodating, and delivered an excellent product. I would 100% recommend them for any event!“

“Bourassa went above and beyond our expectations throughout the entire wedding planning process and wedding day. The communication and planning was thorough and organized and made sure nothing went unaccounted for. The tasting was incredible with some many amazing options to choose from, it was honestly hard to pick because everything was so amazing. Leading up to the wedding the team made sure every detail was covered, making sure all guests had safe options despite multiple allergies and sensitivities. It put our mind at ease knowing all of our guests could easily find something safe and delicious to eat. The food and service on our wedding day was beyond our expectations. The staff were attentive to guest needs, the food and drinks were incredible, and everything was handled with the utmost professionalism. Most couple often say they barley have time to eat on their wedding day, and this couldn't be further from the truth for us. The staff made sure we had drinks and food whenever we needed and I'm so glad that was the case because all of the food was outstanding. I have had multiple guests rave about how good the food was. I have many engaged friends now inquiring about who we had for catering because they do not want to miss out on hiring Bourassa. “Owning a business, I’ve looked into many meal kit companies for easier & quicker meals due to how busy I get. Box Bistro is by far the best I’ve had! All of the meals fill me up more and taste so much better than the other options out there. Not to mention they’re low calorie & high in protein. I just had the turkey BLT on homemade foccacia, and just raced here to write this review. This is one of the best sandwiches I’ve ever had. They have something special there and I’ll be a frequent consumer!“

“La Bella Vista is a spectacular venue we’ve had the good fortune of working at as full-time wedding photographers for several years now. More often than not we are there in the fall with the foliage surrounding us. La Bella Vista is a great location if you are looking for something intimate, elegant, yet comfortable and approachable. On site ceremonies are gorgeous outdoors, and moving to the reception space is wonderful because there is SO much space inside for the entrances and dance floor. One of the highlight’s of everyone’s evening is usually hors d'oeuvres and dessert with both offering countless fantastic options in a beautiful space. One of our favorite aspects of visiting is always the attentive staff and superb coordination. There is always someone looking out for the couple, checking on the progress of the setup, and keeping everything on time. They always look out for us as vendors as well, making sure we get our meals, ensuring we’re ready to go for the next event, and helping with all the little touches when it’s go time for photographing the couple, bridal parties, family and friends. We always recommend La Bella Vista when couples ask for feedback. “One of our first weddings was at the stunning Aria, and we’ve had the good fortune of working there as full-time wedding photographers over several years now. When you first walk in to the space you are taken aback by the size and scope of the elegant surroundings. We particularly love the staircases and how everything can be used for photography of the couple or as a group. It’s so important to be able to move around freely and get creative with angles for posed and documentary photography, and the space makes this possible. The exclusivity and scope of the venue helps a couple feel very special on their day with so many facets of the property to enjoy in and out. We have yet to photograph a wedding in the new chapel, and we are as excited as anyone to book our first ceremony there soon. Aria also allowed us to do a Christmas fashion photoshoot in their spectacular entrance area with all their beautiful decor, and winter is definitely an incredible season to have a wedding here. Suffice it to say their communication and efforts are superb. Aria has such a deep staff that is always assisting couples, guests, and us as vendors, and I am struggling to recall a time where there was any major issue during any of our weddings.
