“Been to this restaurant three times & the food hits every time my favorite is the garlic soy & galibi chicken boneless. Plus my partner & I had a nice time laid-back. Just that the restaurant needs more staff because it takes the waitress to take the orders & give out the food & it would be great to add 2 more waiters.“

“I would highly recommend this restaurant if you like authentic Korean food. Very friendly and attentive staff. Food reminded me of the Korean food I had in Seoul and was delicious. Prices were approximate for what you are getting. Excited to return on my next trip to New Haven.“

“I enjoyed the food and service! Order online and submit order. They come over to your table to confirm your order and it only took about 10 mins for the food to come out!
At first I was unsure by this process but I like it! They were very prompt with refilling drinks and making sure we had everything we needed. Bathroom was clean as well :)

“Stopped in for lunch and everything was delicious. The Bibimbap beef was amazing they made it spicy just how I like it. The bulgogi rice bowl was also really tasty, and the ramen was great too.
If you’re in Hamden and looking for good Japanese and Korean-style food, definitely swing by Donburiya Cafe and grab a bite. Highly recommend!“
“First time in last night and couldn’t have had a better experience. Greeted immediately by Jayson and his wife Ara. Had a Korean bowl which was awesome after a long day of work travel. The Rasson tables had brand new cloth and played excellent and demands precision. Staff was friendly and service was excellent. Couldn’t recommend more and as a fairly decent player, nowhere I would rather stop in. In fact I’d drive hours to play there any day. Not to mention getting to meet one of the best ever to play.“

“Simple but delicious and affordable menu, great service. Food goes well with Makgeolli- a low-alcohol percentage, traditional, cloudy, milky-white Korean rice wine- the stir fried pork was delicious but may be a little spicy-hot for some. The bulgogi was good and not spicy at all.“
