Chicken Restaurants near North Haven

“Visited the Middletown ct restaurant. Clean , professional and outstanding southern chicken. The manger was awesome and was very friendly.“

“We had a terrific experience there after my son’s baseball game. I believe the employee’s name was Petagaye that I would like to recognize. She is exactly what superior customer service should look like in the food industry. She was extremely friendly, helpful and attentive to the customers. What an asset to your team!“

“I eat in this popete pretty much every day, they always find a way to acomadate me and other costumers around me, I always feel welcome.

The service is mostly fast as it is, i been there in rush ahours i can tell every single person in this popeyes are hard workers.

The food is always hot and they have a very smooth flow packing and serving.

All i can say is that this is the best popeyes i've ever eat at.“

“Had such a great experience at Dave’s Hot Chicken! This was my first time trying it, and I was really impressed. The food was delicious, fresh, and full of flavour, but what really made the experience even better was the amazing service from the lovely Shante. She was so friendly, welcoming, and helpful, which made my first visit even more enjoyable.

I’ll definitely be coming back and would highly recommend giving Dave’s Hot Chicken a try!“

“I went to Southern Dishes, Seafood, & Desserts in Meriden today. When I say they truly have southern soul food, it’s an understatement. The food was definitely well seasoned, chicken falls off the bone, cooked to perfection and absolutely delicious!“

“The sandwich was absolutely delicious! I chose the medium spicy chicken and it was just right for me.....spicy and yummy. Braver souls can choose spicier options. The cole slaw was a perfect match for the sandwich too, a touch of spicy too! Highly recommend tjis restaurant. Best meal I've had in town.“

“I live in Alabama and grew up in Georgia and cannot really remember a time before Chick-fil-A. It’s one of our favorite stops especially on long trips when we need the familiarity and the kindness. This location met and exceeded our expectations. Thank you for the kind and professional service. Great food as always. If we are up this way again, we will plan to stop in!“

“My first time here i went with my family after my son baseball game. A young man greeted us very nice and polite. Place was empty it was hour and half before closing. Got the food it was delicious we got friend chicken combo, coconut shrimp, buffalo wings onion rings . Everything was made to order nothing was sitting out. Served and cooked from what it looks like this young man. He gave me A tip on their sauce mix it w the hot sauce and it was delicious. We will be back, go support a small business and try it out“

“Very nice customer services. They assisted me with my order right away. Everything was hot and fresh and they gave great conversation while waiting for my food. I did dine in and they ask me how was everything. Love that type of interaction when dining in thank you“

“Fantastic! Best wings in Connecticut! Hands down , probably the best in the world! The steak n cheese egg rolls are absolutely delicious! Everything is good ! And very affordable for happy hours ! The girl who does the drinks is very pleasant! All the drinks she mixes comes out really good ! The blue ball is my favorite.“

“Hit the spot! Large portions“

“I love the people who work here they are all really nice. They make really good sandwiches on sub rolls? with a free can of soda with it for like $7, and that's with basically whatever you want on it. You want turkey, ?, , ?, ?️, ?, mayo, mustard, and pepper, and whatever else you want on it like extra cheese or extra whatever too I'm pretty sure it stays $7 because me and my bf get extra stuff all the time and we don't get charged more.“

“It was my first time going to a Popeyes and I loved it. The chicken sandwich was very soft and crunchy but melted in your mouth with the mayo, but my Mac n cheese was sort of sad and very creamy but very very cheesy. I received my order within 30 seconds of ordering and the restaurant despite being in a somewhat sketchy area was nice inside and very clean and welcoming. Loved it here, definitely coming back“

“I was able to make a order and pay for it and leave to come back and get it. The place was very clean and the workers are the best yet to be hired. And talking about fresh food, yeah pass by McDonald's and go here to get your free chocolate cookies with certain orders. I love this place !!“

“The food is amazing it was great the service was great the staff where great but the food was amazing.... Will come back and soon..“

“Love it.. Food was fire 🔥..“

“Warning: Although the manager isn’t friendly and rude the staff does not merit a bad review. Instead I just stopped coming here and I went to the other chicken place.

Sure the $6 meal is back and it’s delicious, it is not worth it if they forget to pack the fries or a side dish. That’s what happened to me and since I was stopping by there daily or every other day I did not care.

The next time I went I asked for Jose who is the one who helped me most of the week. He wasn’t there. Jasmine was working and she knew I was a regular customer. She did not pack my order, so she asked the manager.

When the manager (short lady with black hair) came to me she questioned me as if I was trying to scam Popeyes. I told her Jose had missed putting my fries and told her I was a regular customer. She agreed to let me have the fries I was owed but it came with an attitude and trying to belittle me.

I encourage you to open your box and make sure to double check your order before you leave. No matter how nice Jose and Jasmin are they only hand you the meal.

I have had nothing but great experiences at the red and white chicken place for $1 less.

The pictures are from a previous meal.

Parking: Be careful pulling in so you don’t hit the median as you turn into the parking lot. I saw a few cars jump it.“

“It was ok - they put the wrong order in a lot“
