I highly recommend the spare ribs here. My child always says that the ribs from this restaurant are the best they’ve ever had, and I completely agree. The fried rice and noodles are also excellent—everything we’ve tried has been consistently delicious.
What really made me happy was the service. The woman who takes orders remembered me, and when I made a mistake with my online order, she called to confirm the details. That personal touch truly meant a lot to me and made the experience even better.
We’ll be returning to Korea soon, and I will truly miss this place. I always recommend it to my friends whenever I can.“

“Jimmy at Golden Dragon is a really nice guy and the food is excellent. The best Chinese in West Haven. The chicken fingers are fried to perfection. The fried rice is perfect, not mushy, not too hard- just right. The General Tsoas (?) chicken stayed crispy despite the sauce. The egg rolls are crispy and stuffed with goodness. Plus they have a ton of specials all the time that aren’t on the menu. I highly recommend them. We don’t go anywhere else anymore. We definitely support this business.“

We got an assortment of food, such as fried rice with boneless spareribs, shrimp lo mein vegetable lo mein and spring rolls. it did take about 30 minutes for us to get the food, but it was so worth the weight because it was delicious. That was the best Chinese food I’ve ever had in my entire life. I rate this place a 10 out of 10 it was so good. I would definitely return it if we lived closer, but unfortunately, we do not. I don't understand the menu and it seems like there are deals but the workers don't tell you what they are. “My fave Chinese takeout spot in West Haven! I've ordered from Lucky Kitchen several times, and the food is delicious every time. The prices are unbeatable- tons of lunch specials for under $10. The man at the counter is always super friendly, too. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a great takeout place.

“this food is the bomb.com. its well seasoned nothing i got was nasty. this is some of the best rice ive had from a chinese joint. the only thing is the egg roll might have a little extra oil because 1 of mines had a lot of oil but it was the only one like that. but yeah even the soup is good and they are very nice which i never thought i would care about but the are actually have a pleasant energy. no delivery, and cash only. but worth it imo.“

“Looked at the places nearby and found this place. I had eaten the general Tso’s chicken lunch special (8.95 with white rice and a soda), and it’s very good, different from other Chinese food. But I really like it’s tangy and little bit of spices. The service is done by one person, so it’s good to come into the store with patience, but usually there’s not that many people in the store at once. But that doesn’t mean it is bad. If you want to try a new place then come here and just give it a try.“

“The food was excellent. My wife and I ordered soup dumplings, skewers, fried rice and the claypot tofu.

The skewers were excellent. The lamb had a good level of spice and cuts had a generous mix of rendered fat.

Soup dumplings have been trending lately but this place does a great job— skin is springy, broth inside very rich, and does not taste super doughy like a lot of dumplings in the area.

The clay pot, man, it brought me back to my childhood. It heavily reminded me of what my grandmother used to make me as a kid.

“We usually order from a chinese takeout near the high school, but sadly it's gone downhill IMO. We ordered a few days ago, I was impressed. Food seemed fresh, thank you Blessings for being generous with the pork in the pork fried rice as well as the pork lo main. I couldnt go all 5 stars only because it wasnt perfect, I honestly didn't care for the broth used in the won ton soup. It tasted like a mix of really strong French onion and beef broth, just not for me. Overall 4.5 stars will definitely order again! Very good!“
