“China Sea is Take out food only. Or is delivered. One of my TOP reasons of ordering here is…. When I was a little girl I would go with my parents (every Friday) out for Chinese. It was always the same restaurant that was on the Post Road, Orange CT. Well, anyway, food back, then was cooked so differently and better and most places than now. But China Sea is not far from that food taste flavor. Also, they are the only people in the valley that I’ve gone to that make fried rice, which I get the pork fried rice brown Not yellow. That yellow rice is not fried rice. It is just what it is….yellow rice.Also, the couple that works, runs the place are so nice, so sweet, so helpful. Let me stop. I could go on and on about China Sea.Also, the third best thing to me is…..I usually have our food delivered within 15 to 20 minutes.“

“First time ordering here and I really have to say that this restaurant does a good job at making good food and good experiences.When I called in a gentleman answered the phone and spoke with me with manners and respect which goes a long way in my book, he was able to confirm my order and give me a total within 1 minute. He gave me an estimate of 35 mins for my order to be ready and delivered but to my surprise the driver called me 17mins later to let me know he’d be in front of the house in 2 mins. I know it’s a lot of numbers but long story short the service was better than good and the food was exactly what we ordered and expected.The delivery man was kind and appreciative of the gratuity.I’d definitely order from here again.I wish I had a picture to post but it smelled so good I dug right in and couldn’t help but write a review once I finished my meal.The dish I had was Spicy ? “Still a wonderful place for Chinese fare. Their dumplins are juicy and savory. We get the wontons in broth instead of the American-style wonton soup...give it a try! And their main dishes are full of flavor. Our favorites are Cumin Fish Filllets, Bok Choy & Mushrooms in Oyster Sauce, Chicken with Black Bean Sauce and their Beef Chow Fun. The person in charge Jay is friendly and knowledgeable! Their ambience is cozy and the hotpot is not dangerous for little ones because is concealed inside not with an external pot that can spill! I've been so many hotpots in Asia this is my first time seeing such automatic hotpot lift up and drain out the soup! The pork bone soup is good not too salty! The shui mai is huge although is pricey for 4 pieces are $8! The buffet for hotpot for one is $29.99 that's worth it! The fish balls and xiao long bao are good! The steamed pork ribs are good! Those who gave negative reviews are inaccurate! I've little ones with me and I'll definitely will bring my kids there to eat again when we want to eat Chinese food! We love hotpot and dim sum! We have not gotten any decent Chinese food in Branford, so I decided to pick up a quart of pork-fried rice last night as a little test. I was delighted to see that the same family owned the restaurant. They were still so pleasant and the quality had not diminished in the slightest.
