Chinese Restaurants near Ansonia

“Just moved to the area and didn’t have much in the fridge, so we ordered dinner from here. The girl who answered the phone was super friendly, and the delivery guy was genuinely happy, great energy all around and I love that lol. And they had our food at the door in under ten minutes. Granted I’m like a half mile away, but still! Super fast delivery.

We got pork fried rice, egg rolls, boneless spare ribs, and chicken and broccoli. Solid 8/10 on the food, but the customer service, 10/10. This is that classic takeout, comfort Chinese food, hits the spot. Some options might not be good for you but it’s good for your soul lol Will be ordering from here again.“

“Ordered take out from here last night! I ordered the beef with broccoli and white rice and my friend ordered the general tsos chicken with pork fried rice. We shared and wow was it delicious! Everything was fresh and tasty! Glad I found a new spot near by!“

“5 stars! I came from NYC and have tried a lot of restaurants, and China Garden in Ansonia truly impressed me. The new owners who took over just a few weeks ago are incredibly friendly, and the food is exceptionally good. Definitely worth stopping by!“

“EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE!

I placed an order through doordash. After the delivery was about 10 minutes outside the later end of the window, I called the restaurant just to make sure they received the order. The woman who answered the phone didn’t hesitate to say “it’s on the way!” A few minutes later, the food was at my doorstep from one of their own delivery drivers. (I’m so sorry I didn’t have cash to tip him directly because of doordash’s error!)

The General Tso Tofu was DELICIOUS, (vegan), and piping hot when it got here! I will absolutely come pick up at Moon Star in the future! :)“

“Some of the best American style Chinese food I’ve ever had. The level of flavor was out of this world, especially on the orange chicken that had a ton of fresh orange peel slices in the sauce. The beef lo mein and even the vegetable fried rice were also standouts in terms of flavor. They’ve gotta be adding a ton of MSG to this stuff but I love every bit of it“

“Food is excellent! Used to be an Oriental Gourmet in Southbury customer but switched because the quality and taste of their food degraded so much within the last year or so and never got better. Plus errors with take out orders were the last straw. Fortune House is definitely worth the trip from Southbury to Southford! Highly recommend this restaurant!“

“The only place I eat food from the knowing Pete and Jason Jason since he was born, the food service has always completed in a timely fashion for me to pick up in between my shifts.
