“West of town locale on state route 25 (main street), the main north south route through the upper Stepney section of town. Inside is spacious and good to sit down and eat as a lot of Chinese restaurants are not, restroom also available. This is a neighborhood staple for Chinese food. They also deliver if you want it delivered.“

“Wow, this is the best Chinese food I have found in the area. Food was hot and fresh and they use quality ingredients. The shrimp stir fried with vegetables in kung pao sauce were really fresh and perfectly cooked and the vegetables were still crispy. The crunchy water chestnuts were a nice touch. They don't use heavy gloopy sauces. The hot and sour soup was also a pleasant surprise. It was perfectly balanced with vinegar and some heat from chilis and had lots of fresh mushrooms and shredded bamboo shoots. Most of their business seems to be take-out. Don't be dissuaded by the appearances from the outside. We tried four different dishes and they were all hits. I will definitely be back!“

“My fiancé and I loyally order from here when we are craving Chinese food or sushi. Not only does the food always hit the spot, but their service is amazing. When I informed the woman working at the front of my gluten sensitivity, she took time to run through every ingredient and its contents and triple checked there would be no contamination (who knew imitation crab had gluten?). They took my sensitivity very seriously and I’m extremely grateful for that, as this service is rare.

“Very friendly, welcoming before you’re even through the door, smells amazing as you walk in. English is not the first language so you know it’s good. Reasonable pricing for such delicious food. Big menu selection as well. I’d highly recommend coming here.

My favorite vegan dish is Bean Curd Schenzuan style with brown rice and a large order of plantain and two spring rolls comes to less than $20 and that meal last me for two dinner days I only eat once a day so $20 to eat beautifully tasty cooked food for 2days is a steal... It was always the same restaurant that was on the Post Road, Orange CT. Well, anyway, food back, then was cooked so differently and better and most places than now. But China Sea is not far from that food taste flavor. Also, they are the only people in the valley that I’ve gone to that make fried rice, which I get the pork fried rice brown Not yellow. That yellow rice is not fried rice. It is just what it is….yellow rice.Also, the couple that works, runs the place are so nice, so sweet, so helpful. Let me stop. I could go on and on about China Sea.Also, the third best thing to me is…..I usually have our food delivered within 15 to 20 minutes.“
