The food was the real highlight. Everything was fresh and hot. The dumplings had a flavorful filling. The fried rice was the best I have had in a long time. The portions were generous, making it a great value for the price. I also appreciated the variety on the menu. “Food is excellent! Used to be an Oriental Gourmet in Southbury customer but switched because the quality and taste of their food degraded so much within the last year or so and never got better. Plus errors with take out orders were the last straw. Fortune House is definitely worth the trip from Southbury to Southford! Highly recommend this restaurant!“

“panda garden consistently makes the best take-out chinese food in this area by far. the options are plentiful, and the food is always tasty, hot, and well prepared and packed. i appreciate the choice of rice including brown rice, which i prefer. the appetizers, the mains, the combination dishes..... everything is great. their wonton soup is a hit both for flavor and for wonton quality. i drive past at least 3-4 other restaurants who serve the same kind of stuff to get their food. i recommend panda garden without reservation.“

“This might be the best take out Chinese. The food is made quickly and is always fresh. They have really good boneless spare ribs and lo mein. They also have Chinese tea, chopsticks, and sauce packets available. The owners are friendly. They have a small table to wait at too. Overall excellent Chinese take out.“

I'm a simple man when it comes to Chinese food, just some mild General Tso's, some beef lo mein, and steamed dumplings. Its the occasional dinner takeout. Xiang's has a combination plate with fried rice and an egg roll, which is great. It comes so stacked into that container, they couldn't fit anymore in there. I love it! Prices are decent too and the food is great. Definitely recommend!“

Leaving a positive review after a mishap of an Uber driver who delivered the wrong order. After communications with the restaurant our food was brought right away with no issue.

Whenever we call the lady that answers the phone is super nice and takes the time to make sure our order is right. When we go into the restaurant to pick up the people are always nice and the place smells as good as the food is. The crab Rangoon, Seseme chicken platter, and garlic shrimp combo are the best! Definitely recommend going.“
