Whenever I call, the nice woman who answers is friendly, calls me by name, and demonstrates her appreciation for my business.
Yesterday afternoon, 2/13/25, I placed a big order: Wonton soup, pork fried rice, bbq spare ribs, steamed dumplings sesame chicken, and chicken with broccoli. Everything was delicious, cooked freshly, and portions were generous. Some places cut corners by giving less chicken, but Moon Star puts plenty of chicken in the meals.
I was allowed to take a 2-liter bottle of soda for free, and to our surprise, there was a HUGE portion of freshly-made fried dough (my wife's favorite!)

“panda garden consistently makes the best take-out chinese food in this area by far. the options are plentiful, and the food is always tasty, hot, and well prepared and packed. i appreciate the choice of rice including brown rice, which i prefer. the appetizers, the mains, the combination dishes..... everything is great. their wonton soup is a hit both for flavor and for wonton quality. i drive past at least 3-4 other restaurants who serve the same kind of stuff to get their food. i recommend panda garden without reservation.“

Not sure if it's the owner or manager who was at the register and taking orders, but she was incredibly kind, making sure she got the order right and letting us use the restroom in the back during a long road trip. If you live in the area or are just passing through, check this place out !“

When i was picking it up, they were super fast with the food and was still incredibly hot! “SOOOO GOOD! I ordered the fried dumplings, shrimp fried rice, vegetable lo mein and lemon chicken. The fried dumplings were perfect and the sauce was on point. The shrimp lo mein was fresh and the lo mein and chicken were also excellent.
The service was super friendly and they gave me a free lemonade.“

The people were very nice and happy to make accommodations. The place is has tables to sit and eat. Their little decorations are cute.

“So... I work in New Molford for the summers. Its been a year since ive been to this restaraunt. I walked in and the owner remembered me.. remembered my order... and greeted me like an old friend. I have a special order because I dont like sugar or oyster sauc3.. chicken broccoli with white sauce. It was always delicious. Im not sure why this place has such low ratings.But im a chef from New Orleans and this restaraunt has always hit the spot. Plus the hospitality and intentional care is palpable.“

“I frequent this restaurant because they flatly have some of the BEST Chinese Food in the area. Their Ribs and boneless ribs in particular are better than any others. If you don't eat Pork, Chicken/Beef & Broccoli is also a standout in my opinion! But I have yet to try something from Great Wall that was not delicious. In terms of service, their team is both friendly and efficient. The location is largely contactless since the COVID pandemic, and they remains so in 2024. This has meant that the Atmosphere suffers a bit. There is no seating or dining. With that said, this is the same for most Chinese Food locations in the area. If you're looking for Chinese Food, you won't find a better choice around“
