“This restaurant is a gem. Never in a million years would you think a strip mall restaurant in Wallingford `prepares food this fantastic. We found it via google and have been back several times- I can’t speak to everything on the menu, but all the dishes we’ve ordered were delicious- portions are generous and staff very professional. There’s a sign on the door that they’re only doing take-out so maybe call ahead if you’re looking for dine-in service.“

“They have apparently either learned to cook since opening or maybe it depends on what you order. The roast pork with snow peas is always excellent, they have decent PFR and lo mein. When they first opened, I ordered several things and they were all bad. Back then the General Tsao's chicken was like sweet and sweet and sour (I haven't tried it again because it was so bad) and they couldn't cook even rice. Still glad to have them in the neighborhood.“

The shrimp fried rice and pineapple fried rice are very good. I always keep a look out for who has the best orange chicken, and this place has it. Everything is well kept and clean, as well as the bathrooms. The hostess is exceptionally accommodating.“

“Just had dinner at Sakana. The food and drinks are always delicious, fresh, and fast! Our waitresss was also amazing - very thoughtful, anticipating needs without needing to be asked and so kind to our kiddo- even giving some kids chopsticks to take home. “Great prices, generous portions, and amazing flavor!
I highly recommend the spare ribs here. My child always says that the ribs from this restaurant are the best they’ve ever had, and I completely agree. The fried rice and noodles are also excellent—everything we’ve tried has been consistently delicious.
What really made me happy was the service. The woman who takes orders remembered me, and when I made a mistake with my online order, she called to confirm the details. That personal touch truly meant a lot to me and made the experience even better.
We’ll be returning to Korea soon, and I will truly miss this place. I always recommend it to my friends whenever I can.“

“I have eaten here about 6 times in the last month.For a take out restaurant, the food is fresh and good. The quality was consistent in my experience. Definitely one of the better Chinese take outs I have bought from.

“I can't believe after moving away and coming back 15 year later this icon of a restaurant is still open. From middle school til highschool this place was my staple. They’re hot and Sour soup is the best I’ve had in the area hands-down however it is very spicy so if you don’t want it spicy, ask them to alter it. Update I tried the curry shrimp and it was the best curry shrimp dish of any Chinese food establishment I’ve ever been to.“

Most of them, the food is soggy, cold when we get it, not cooked right, etc. Until we found this place. It’s tucked away behind BAR pizza and we never even knew it was there! “I have been ordering from this restaurant for probably about 15 to 20 years and right now I’m not driving. “Don’t know why people are leaving reviews like it’s poison food ? it’s salty and slightly greasy which is what I expect from a Chinese food place. Only thing I didn’t like was the egg drop soup it was pretty bland. Did no contact delivery and driver didn’t knock or ring bell or anything so my food sat out there for awhile in the sun before I even knew they had come (at least 15 mins) so that sucks for a 20% tip“

I got the plain fried rice with Chicken broccoli ?.. it was delicious I also got some Chicken wings I love them as well very juicy … however, I was not too crazy for the shrimp egg rolls… they were not crispy n had an after taste to them … not sure if the oil is frequently changed … it taste it kinda oily n stale n they were not crispy at all and I forgot to ask for soy sauce n hot sauce n they did not included a few packs , normally when I order from other places , they include some soy sauce whether i ask for it or not… but the rice with Chiken brócoli ? n wings were very tasty n delicious ?.. the driver was very friendly n fast service … I would come here again but I would not be getting the egg rolls from here… was kinda disappointed with the egg rolls!!!“
