“This restaurant is a gem. Never in a million years would you think a strip mall restaurant in Wallingford `prepares food this fantastic. We found it via google and have been back several times- I can’t speak to everything on the menu, but all the dishes we’ve ordered were delicious- portions are generous and staff very professional. There’s a sign on the door that they’re only doing take-out so maybe call ahead if you’re looking for dine-in service.“

“Amazing place!!

Went to this place for the first time with my friends, and were originally drawn to the interior decorating. If you look closely, the lights are in the shapes of dumpling steam boxes!! Dumplings are their specialty, and the restaurant even features a look-and-see glass box called the “Bao Lab”, where you can watch, interact with the cooks, and even record the process!!

I ordered the crab rangoons and the brisket ramen, SO DELICIOUS. We also ordered the pork and crab dumplings to share, and you get a box of 6 for $13, which is pretty reasonable! Great staff, very attentive and personable. Our servers were Patrick and Jodie, and they took very good care of us!!

The only complaint I can muster is that the soup was a little cold, but that’s only because they wanted to ensure our food all came out at once!

Great place for a first-try or if you want to try something new, with delicious food, great servers, and a fantastic atmosphere.

“Legitimately the best lo mein and dumplings I’ve ever had. Friendly staff, food always hot. I’ve been coming here for 11 years and if I ever move away from the Cheshire area I will still make the trek for China Dragon. No other Chinese food spot in the area even comes close.“

Our waitresss was also amazing - very thoughtful, anticipating needs without needing to be asked and so kind to our kiddo- even giving some kids chopsticks to take home. I highly recommend the spare ribs here. My child always says that the ribs from this restaurant are the best they’ve ever had, and I completely agree. The fried rice and noodles are also excellent—everything we’ve tried has been consistently delicious.
What really made me happy was the service. The woman who takes orders remembered me, and when I made a mistake with my online order, she called to confirm the details. That personal touch truly meant a lot to me and made the experience even better.
We’ll be returning to Korea soon, and I will truly miss this place. I always recommend it to my friends whenever I can.“

They’re hot and Sour soup is the best I’ve had in the area hands-down however it is very spicy so if you don’t want it spicy, ask them to alter it. Update I tried the curry shrimp and it was the best curry shrimp dish of any Chinese food establishment I’ve ever been to.“

“The food soothes the pallet, and the atmosphere is great! The Home made duck sauce was the best I've had, shumai was tender, and crab ragoons were the freshest. The shrimp fried rice and pineapple fried rice are very good. I always keep a look out for who has the best orange chicken, and this place has it. Everything is well kept and clean, as well as the bathrooms. The hostess is exceptionally accommodating.“

“First time going to China Garden. I saw reviews were mixed but I always try places myself. I asked about mixed reviews and she said they are under new owners. Overall very satisfied and the food was consistent with what to expect from Chinese take out. We got Pork egg food young, Chicken w/broccoli, Chicken wings and Crab rangoons. We liked the rangoons triangle shaped vs. other restaurants. Had no issues with our order. Place was clean from everything I saw. We would go back.
