“1st visit. Ordered take out & grabbed a coffee during the brief wait. Service was efficient & friendly. Establishment was clean & welcoming. I deeply appreciate that they offer tofu. We ordered the “Vito” swapping chicken out for tofu & the “Cypress Garden” sandwiches… both were delicious. The prices were reasonable for the high quality of the ingredients. One was $10 the other $12 & this price even included choice of side: pasta salad, apple or chips. We chose the lemon basil pasta salad & it was just as delicious as the sandwich’s. “The real steamed hams. Unfortunately no localized aurora borealis within the restaurant. That being said the cheese is really the star of the show. Great variety of sodas.

It had a very lived in vibe, like I had stepped into a friend’s kitchen to get a quick bite to eat.

“Hole in the wall location. Great service. The tortillas and spicy salsa appetizer was excellent, though a slightly larger salsa serving would be appreciated. I was pleasantly surprised by the freshness and tastiness of the tacos. Had carnitas, al pastor, and birria… all on perfectly warmed tortillas. The tortillas tasted like they were made in-house. The roasted poblanos that came with the tacos elevated each delicious bite. The horchata aguas fresca was very refreshing. Best tacos I’ve had since I left Moreno Valley, CA. Will be back.“

“My birthday was last month and my daughter spent the day with me. We googled chicken and waffles and decided on Cheeks. The service was great. The manager threw in an extra piece of chicken for each of us and a piece of cake for me for my birthday. The waffle was really good, I just thought it should be larger. The chicken was delicious, just a bit salty for me. I'm sure they have adjusted and they have a great selection of dry rubs and sauces. They also have an extended menu.“

Also, Bathroom is large enough for handicapped chairs and always very clean and comfortable. “We were traveling for work and the hotel suggested we check out Pig Rig. We were not disappointed! The BBQ baked beans were awesome. It is kind of unfair to just call them baked beans, there is so much going on that it could be the entree by itself. Whatever you get make sure that bbq baked beans is one of them. The brisket is shredded not sliced and I loved it (6) different sauces and they are all great. The food was awesome and the staff were just as great! The owners were super friendly and I will definitely be returning. Hidden gem in CT for sure!“

“I had a great experience eating here at Westbrook lobster, it was my anniversary 16 years married. Stopped in here with my wife and 3 kids. Was greeted and seated by a very friendly staff. Claudine and Lexie took very good care of us. Our food was on done fast and accurate. Service was amazing the girls are awesome very sweet amd attentive to us. I will definitely recommend to anyone who wants great seafood on any type of special event or day. Or even a normal family night out to come to Westbrook lobster for a great experience. “Your menu description for the Santa Fe Chicken dish is not clear as it says the dish is served with rice and beans, but actually the rice and beans ARE the side dishes. They ask you to then choose 2 more side dishes on the which is very ambiguous!“

“We stopped by this place after we were gonna go to Archie Moore, but it was too full. I’m so glad that we did because this was the best food I ever had in my entire life. We got an assortment of food, such as fried rice with boneless spareribs, shrimp lo mein vegetable lo mein and spring rolls. it did take about 30 minutes for us to get the food, but it was so worth the weight because it was delicious. That was the best Chinese food I’ve ever had in my entire life. I rate this place a 10 out of 10 it was so good. I would definitely return it if we lived closer, but unfortunately, we do not. One day I would drive all the way over here just so I can have this Chinese food because it was that good thank you to all the staff. They were very nice and friendly. 10 out of 10 service!!!!“
