“Don't let the simple name fool you. This Mexican restaurant is one of the best in the state! My partner and I visit once a week and never had a problem with the food and/or service. The food is authentically Mexican and is delicious. The drinks are amazing and they pour heavy. Many latinos go to eat there so you know if latinos go to eat there the food must be good. The service has always been excellent. No attitudes. Just happy faces. The restaurant is very clean.“

“As perfect as a an outing for lunch or quick dinner you can get. If you love steamed cheeseburgers, this is your place! Perfect combination of gooey-soft white cheddar cheese and fresh, hot and steaming, juicy burger. Chocolate milk shake round out the meal. Bun was soft and fresh. Great spot, don't change a thing. And they have Foxon Park sodas on tap! Birch Beer, Cream Soda and Root Beer! (along with more in bottles). Great meal!“

“We had an amazing wedding shower today at Sans Souci! From the beginning of the planning process through the event today, the staff has been phenomenal. The owner was great to communicate with and made sure we had everything we needed to make our event successful. The food was delicious and the service was attentive. Our guests really enjoyed the mimosa bar. Our plated meals were served hot and tasted delicious. If you’re looking for a space to host a private event, I can’t recommend Sans Souci highly enough. We’ve eaten here many times and can’t wait to return!“

“A wonderful find with a real Italian waitress. Appetizers of cold antipasto and friend mozzarella were excellent. Our group had: eggplant paremigiana, veal Francaise (which my companion said was the best she's had), and I had Calamari over linguini with a wonderful red sauce. “Best pizza in Meriden and it's not even close, every other place is the same burnt dry slop with no taste that's over-priced, one charged me five bucks for a pepperoni slice that was burnt and barely topped. Would recommend. Also a big plus is that they use red onions instead of white ones, adds more flavor to the pizza.“
