“Had a great meal here for the whole family, and the owner came by and joked with the kids... husband had burnt ends, brisket, ribs, etc. He loved the smoky flavor of the meat and that not all of the flavor came from the sauce. nice to find a BBQ restaurant with a veggie option, thank you!“

“We were traveling for work and the hotel suggested we check out Pig Rig. We were not disappointed! The BBQ baked beans were awesome. It is kind of unfair to just call them baked beans, there is so much going on that it could be the entree by itself. Whatever you get make sure that bbq baked beans is one of them. The brisket is shredded not sliced and I loved it (6) different sauces and they are all great. The food was awesome and the staff were just as great! The owners were super friendly and I will definitely be returning. Hidden gem in CT for sure!“

“We used Caribou Smokehouse for a funeral catering ,and everything was great from the food to the politeness and professionalism of the owner.Cannot say enough about the cornbread and Mac-N-Cheese.Everyone at the gathering loved the food also.We highly recommend them and are referring them to all our friends.“

“This is such a great restaurant. Love the atmosphere here and the beauty of the place itself. The food is great. The happy hour food menu however is minimal and seriously lacking options. Also, the service at the bar is often very slow unfortunately.“
