“We were traveling for work and the hotel suggested we check out Pig Rig. We were not disappointed! The BBQ baked beans were awesome. It is kind of unfair to just call them baked beans, there is so much going on that it could be the entree by itself. Whatever you get make sure that bbq baked beans is one of them. The brisket is shredded not sliced and I loved it (6) different sauces and they are all great. The food was awesome and the staff were just as great! The owners were super friendly and I will definitely be returning. Hidden gem in CT for sure!“

The waitress was very friendly, quick and responsive to all our requests

The salad was crispy and fresh no wilted lettuce. The bread was fresh fresh baked, and warmed with whipped butter

My steak was cooked perfectly and the grilled shrimp was served over a Spanish flavored rice was excellent

The mashed potatoes were creamy and buttery very nice. The shrimp or cooked perfectly not overcooked. They still had some snap to it when you bite into them please refer to the video.

My friend had the Parmesan crusted chicken breast, which was also fantastic when she let me have a bite. Also would be in the photos.

We will definitely be returning to this place and have visited this place before great experience all around for a busy Friday night. The Restaurant was at capacity with a quick 15 minute wait but we got right in with a party of two. We got a large booth and it was great.
