“Food is amazing. But the lady who picks up the phone is rude EVERYTIME! Like if she hates her job or is annoyed all the time. Im never rude back, even if she, cause I wouldnt want my food tampered with . But she has also has hung up the phone on me several times when I simply say I would like to order. & today she was so rude that it made me so uncomfortable & she got my order wrong. Makes me not want to order from there which sucks cause the food is really good.“

“my boys & I went to SONG this past Saturday. We ate everything we ordered. The food was super tasty. The depth of flavors was absolutely delicious! We tried the pancake roll which had beef & vegetables inside. OH MY GOODNESS! I could literally eat that every day for the rest of my life! I'm totally serious. I'm not sure why they have only a 4.0, which is a good score. Honestly? SONG is deserving of at least a 4.6 but I'm giving them a 4.8. our waiter was a sweetie, polite & attentive. it wasn't crowded, actually none of the restaurants were super crowded. we were there around 630pm. so maybe it was a bit early. The atmosphere was welcoming & comfortable. This was my 2nd time there & I'll definitely be going back. 4.8! ❤️“

“First, I have to say they make my absolute favorite egg rolls/shrimp eggrolls ever. I'm addicted to them. I'll get atleast 3 just for myself and in addition to whatever else I'm getting. If I'm in the area, even if I'm not hungry/already eaten, I'll stop by and get atleast 3 eggrolls and a shrimp egg roll.

I love this place. I most definitely recommend it. Especially with the plaza across the street, place your order, take care of business and then have a yummy snack/lunch/dinner after. It's obviously not a gourmet fancy shmancy place, but the food is what matters and I've had the same orders thay cost twice as much and this place tastes better.

The service is always faster than expected. I don't think I've ever had to wait for more than 10min (the average being like 5-7), even when there was 2 orders before me.

I'm slowly working my way through the menu to try everything and I've yet to find anything I don't like/anything to complain about. The food is always nice and hot (or cold or whatever temp its best at). The food is always very fresh in every manner. And the food tastes just as amazing the next day. It reheats well but also tastes great no reheated too (like cold or room temperature crab rangoon). I usually do leftovers- fried rice in a wok but even when microwaved it's just as delicious.

I have atmosphere 4/5 because the inside is sparse, it's obviously meant to be a take out place. But it's got a nice quaint mom and pop, family run vibe. Even though it's clearly a take out place, technically there is a couple small tables if you're like eating on the go(?) and it's otherwise nice, clean, and for its size it's not like cramped. For what it is it's 5/5, but on the unified scale of restaurants in general it's meant to be eaten at (though it is possible to do so). Also they have the sauces, utensils and fortune cookies readily available and self serve unlike a lot of places that are stingy about those for some reason.

The staff is kind while also expeditious. For Chinese-Take-Out restaurants I'd posit the standard is speedy without the pleasantries. But the staff here are nice and kind and fast but not to the point of costing the pleasant-ness. I often stop in and place my order before I run across the street to CVS. If I'm early when I get back I'll wait outside, and often the woman there will bring my food out to me with a smile. She could wait till I come in, she could wave me in through the window or whatever, but she takes the effort to kindly bring my food to me outside.“

“This place used to be one of my favorites years ago when I wirk nearby. Would goto lunch there practically once a week. Last 2 times I ordered shrimp fried rice, it tasted great as always, but this time they added shrimp on top of the rice to make you think - wow!, it's loaded. Only to find out that the rest of the rice had No Shrimp whatsoever.. a let down. Not sure, if I trust ordering there again? “I had a great experience at Lotus Garden Chinese. The owner was incredibly friendly and made the whole visit feel welcoming. I ordered the chicken and broccoli along with a spare rib combo, and everything was excellent. The food had great flavor without being overly salty, which is hard to find sometimes. The meat was tender, perfectly cooked, and clearly fresh. You can tell they really care about the quality of their food and customer experience. I’ll definitely be coming back again!“

“They have apparently either learned to cook since opening or maybe it depends on what you order. The roast pork with snow peas is always excellent, they have decent PFR and lo mein. When they first opened, I ordered several things and they were all bad. Back then the General Tsao's chicken was like sweet and sweet and sour (I haven't tried it again because it was so bad) and they couldn't cook even rice. My food is hot and fresh, the woman at the counter was very friendly and helpful, the restaurant is clean and my food (curry chicken, pork fried rice) is delicious. “I moved to the area about 3 years ago ave I have yet to find a good Chinese spot, I tried chengs kitchen in downtown New Britain, and never went back because it was that bad, my son came home with general Tso’s yesterday and he let me try a bite, it was so good, we ordered again for dinner tonight, The crab Rangoon were really good and decent sized, and we both got general tso’s dinners, everything was hot and tasted fresh, Definitely will be coming back, thank you for a great first experience 😊“
