“Best general tso's we've ever had. Not too sweet, but still crunchy and savory. Boneless spare ribs are charred to perfection while keeping some chewy parts. Lo mein is the best, awesome for leftovers with a little added soy sauce and hot sauce.“
“First time ordering general Tso chicken, boneless spare ribs, sweet and sour chicken and crab Rangoon. The ribs had absolutely NO fat and were flavorful. The chicken wasn’t all breading and wasn’t greasy, decent size pieces of chicken. Crab Rangoon was delectable and didn’t taste like cream cheese like other places. Rice was bland. Overall the price was decent and everything was good and flavorful.“
“Food was average, but the staff are very nice and it’s a really cool design inside. I’m disabled and use a walker and the woman at the front specifically brought us to a table close to the food with a wide walkway next to it so I wouldn’t have to walk far and would have plenty of room to get around :) The waitstaff were polite and attentive with refilling drinks and clearing used dishes.“
“Cromwell's little best kept secret! Honestly, I have tried about 4 Chinese restaurants in the area, and before that, have always loved Chinese food, making it a weekly choice to enjoy, and last night, was pushed away from my main Chinese restaurant because they had a 45 minute wait, and then found Ming Garden, and all I can say is... that is some GREAT Chinese food!5 STARS!!!!“
“Great service, atmosphere, and most importantly - amazing food! Highly recommend the scallion pancake roll with twice cooked pork, it was so good and our favorite dish. Dan Dan noodles also great. I'll be back to try the bao, the soup dumplings were good but not my favorite.“
“Chef Jiang in Farmington boasts an authentic menu that deviates from the usual Americanized Chinese fare. While I appreciate their commitment to regional Chinese cuisine, my experience fell a bit short of expectations. At first when we arrived they were mopping the floors and the cleaner smell overpowered our senses. We started with an array of dumplings, excited to dive into this cornerstone of Chinese dim sum. The vegetable fried dumplings were undeniably fresh, showcasing crisp wrappers and plump fillings. However, the flavor profile leaned too heavily on the sauce we dipped them in leaving them a bit one-dimensional. The shrimp and sticky rice shumai came across similarly, with the offering a punch of fishiness that overpowered. The highlight of our meal were the dumplings in chili sauce. Each bite burst with a satisfying heat, balanced by the richness of the filling. Again, the freshness of the dumplings shone through, but the flavor could have benefited from additional complexity. The soup dumplings mirrored the above sentiment.Ultimately, while Chef Jiang offers a refreshing departure from the familiar, the execution didn't quite match the ambition. The emphasis on freshness is commendable, but I yearned for more nuanced flavors in the fillings and sauces. We ended up stopping before delving further into the menu, as the portions were generous.Would I recommend Chef Jiang? It depends on your culinary compass. If you're an adventurous diner seeking authentic Chinese flavors, it's worth a try. However, if you crave Americanized Chinese food, you might leave wanting more“
“This place was pretty good. Definitely one of the best Chinese restaurants I've ever eaten at. The atmosphere is wonderful and my waiter, Sebastian, should get a damn raise because he is so nice. I got the spicy Chang chicken or whatever and it was very tender. The only complaint I'd have was that this place is slightly pricier compared to other Chinese restaurants (my meal costed like 19 bucks or around there). Even the fortune cookies tasted good.“
“A MUST. I'm from out of state and every single time I visit I ask to go here. Consistently delicious. My go-to is general tso chicken. Never a 'weird' piece of meat, very crispy and generous portion. We've tried basically every appetizer on the menu, all 10/10. Our favorites are crab Rangoon, and the spring rolls. The cocktails are very tasty, the lemon drop especially. Some drinks are served in fun glasses like a tiki! Service is great, very friendly and attentive. Never have to wait too long but I also like that the food doesn't come out asap too. Would absolutely recommend this restaurant and will continue coming back!“
“Decided to stop in and try for the first time and the food was actually delicious and did not taste old like other Chinese take out! The lady in the front is so sweet and welcoming truly made the experience even better she even gifted my daughter a little cake! I would definitely go back.“
“Good in consistent and they have good value prices! The lunch special too is perfect, I order lunch at work all the time and it’s extremely convenient and they have a ton of lunch options!! Food is always delicious. New favorite Chinese spot and I’m picky with Chinese food as well! Definitely worth the 5 stars ?“
