We tried the pancake roll which had beef & vegetables inside. OH MY GOODNESS! I could literally eat that every day for the rest of my life! I'm totally serious. I'm not sure why they have only a 4.0, which is a good score. Honestly? SONG is deserving of at least a 4.6 but I'm giving them a 4.8. our waiter was a sweetie, polite & attentive. it wasn't crowded, actually none of the restaurants were super crowded. we were there around 630pm. so maybe it was a bit early. “I’ve known these people for over a decade. my father and I always came here since it was down the street from us. He’d get beef fried rice well done with some ribs on the side, then I would get chicken fried rice with 4 chicken wings. That was our go to orders and they always delivered with great food. We’ve known the owners for years and they are one of the nicest people in the area. I got to know them all these years to the point where one of their sons became a freshman when I was a senior in Highschool and we are boys to this day. “When living in South Windsor for years we used to always get our Chinese from SunSun. We always got delivery.I remember, delivery always used to get there quickly food was hot. Food was always excellent! I was recently driving by and was thinking about dinner. I said that's where sun ☀️ is. I stopped for takeout. Typical 15 minute wait. I must admit. They still have the best Chinese food around. If you haven't tried them I highly recommend. Also I couldn't believe the operation. They're so busy they have which appears to be a couple of college kids working the front taking orders. Excellent service all the way around! The only downfall I could see or actually feel. Please turn up the heat in the waiting area. Lol. Once again your food is excellent! Service is excellent!I will be back.“

I hadn't ordered from them for a while, but having had them yesterday it's obvious that was a giant mistake and there was good reason I ordered it every week for years. “I have a long list of allergies so I was apprehensive about trying a new Chinese restaurant but I decided to take the risk.I came across Lok Hing and went in. To my surprise they do not use any of the allergens on my list so for the first time in a long time I could order anything on the menu. I got the general tso combination and it was delicious. I am thrilled that I have found a Chinese restaurant I can order from without fear of cross contamination. This restaurant is a hidden gem on Albany Avenue in Hartford.“

“Last week, my husband and I hosted a family reunion dinner for 26 people in Butterfly's banquet room. The food was really good, and the service was exceptional. Everyone ordered off the menu, and I was amazed at how quickly the kitchen made 26 entrees off that huge menu. The price was extremely reasonable for such a large gathering.

General Manager Carey Graham was wonderful to work with. He ensured that every detail was taken care of.

We started going to Butterfly more than 40 years ago, but, we did stop going for a number of years because we thought the food was not as good as it used to be and some of the servers were not very friendly. But under Carey's able management and with an entirely new staff, Butterfly is back. I would recommend Butterfly for everything from dinner for two to a full-blown banquet.“
