Firstly…if you’ve never been here, the food is pretty good..and the staff is attentive.
When you walk in…you’re greeted and then they have you pay ahead of time..at first it seemed odd because out of ALL the buffets I’ve been to, this is the first time I’ve ever had to pay in advance; other than say Golden Corral. Once I sat down, I realized why. I’ve heard of places doing this..but it’s never been made so apparent as they do. “We will charge extra for wasted food”..so that means if you come here and want to try something for the first time and you don’t like it..or you get your favorite item and it’s cold…chances are, your card will have a second charge on it from here. That immediately gets a star away..
Service was excellent..very attentive with seeing if you want more drinks.
Parking was great because it’s in a mini strip mall.

“Decided to stop in and try for the first time and the food was actually delicious and did not taste old like other Chinese take out! The lady in the front is so sweet and welcoming truly made the experience even better she even gifted my daughter a little cake! I would definitely go back.“

“I've had this place bookmarked for a while, since I've been seeing great reviews about it. They're on LaSalle St. which is a busy road with a ton of restaurants and shops in West Hartford. We were able to find on-street metered parking nearby. We got there for lunch and was able to get a table outside. The service was quick and friendly.

We started off with the crispy pork nuggets ($8) which were super crispy and delectable; it came with sweet hoison sauce and chili flakes for dipping. We also ordered steamed chicken soup dumplings ($9); this came with a sweet soy dipping sauce. I thought this was just okay, there wasn't much soup in it. Next time, I want to try out their chengdu dumplings ($9). We were hungry so we asked the waiter for recommendations and he said braised beef pancake roll ($11) and boy, that was a good recommendation. It was a flaky roll with beef and sweet hoison sauce.

Now my main entree was the Dan Dan noodles ($8). They mixed it at the table for me; it had noodles, ground pork, spicy sauce, and baby bok choy. Wow, I can eat a gallon of that lol, 5 stars all the way for that. My husband had the Roujiamo Chinese burger and he said it was okay. Overall, the food was 4.5 stars and the service and ambiance was 5 stars, so I rounded it to 5 stars total. I look forward to going back and trying out some more menu items!“

“I can’t recommend Ming Bao enough! Every time we order take out, the employees are always incredibly kind and welcoming. I also want to add that the food is incredible. My husband and I always order general tso combination plates. The lo mein is also super yummy!We ordered take out tonight and when my husband came home with the food, he kept talking about how friendly everyone is, which isn’t unusual! Food was always excellent! I was recently driving by and was thinking about dinner. I said that's where sun ☀️ is. I stopped for takeout. Typical 15 minute wait. I must admit. They still have the best Chinese food around. If you haven't tried them I highly recommend. Also I couldn't believe the operation. They're so busy they have which appears to be a couple of college kids working the front taking orders. Excellent service all the way around! The only downfall I could see or actually feel. “Best Chinese delivery ever! The food is super fresh and flavorful. Delivery always comes quick. Amazing spare ribs, fried rice, lo mein, egg rolls. The General Tso and Sesame chicken has the most spot on crisp to sauce ratio. Crispy but not heavily breaded. Sauce is next level. The food is not oily or heavy at all. Love this place!!! The only Chinese place I’ll order from moving forward!“

“A Glastonbury landmark. Spartan storefront - mostly takeout - that serves simple, straightforward Chinese and Chinese-American fare. Have been eating and enjoying their chicken broccoli for near 30 years. Never fails. Singapore noodles Abit oily but very flavorful and packed with shrimp, pork and sliced veggies. Had General Tsaos Chicken this time - a first. Too sweet for my taste so it helped to order extra spicy.“
