“We have ordered from Yang Zi Jiang many times, and it has been consistently good when it comes to taste, portion size, and quick turnaround. That opinion also comes after trying quite a few Chinese restaurants in the area.

On our latest visit, we ordered Szechuan Chicken and Crispy Tofu with Broccoli. Both were delicious. The Szechuan Chicken had plenty of well-cooked chicken along with peppers, baby corn, mushrooms, and snow peas. It was marked spicy, though for our taste it really was not.

The Crispy Tofu came with broccoli and fried tofu coated in a very good sweet and spicy sauce. Because of the sauce, the tofu was no longer particularly crispy by the time we ate it, and the pieces were a little too large for my liking. Other than broccoli, there were no additional vegetables, but the flavor more than made up for it.

Over our previous visits, we have also enjoyed their Vegetable Fried Rice, Veg Lo Mein, General Tso's Chicken, General Tso's Tofu, Orange Chicken, and Hot & Sour Soup. Thankfully, we have yet to come across a dish we disliked. The portions have always been generous and the food consistently flavorful.

One thing I especially appreciate is their surprisingly good and creative vegetarian selection, something I do not find at many Chinese restaurants. Their menu is quite large, and despite all our visits, we probably have not tried even half of it yet.

The only limitation is that this is essentially a takeout restaurant with no dine-in option. Posting this review only after eating here multiple times — and so far, Yang Zi Jiang has earned its consistency.“

“I’ve known these people for over a decade. my father and I always came here since it was down the street from us. He’d get beef fried rice well done with some ribs on the side, then I would get chicken fried rice with 4 chicken wings. That was our go to orders and they always delivered with great food. We’ve known the owners for years and they are one of the nicest people in the area. I got to know them all these years to the point where one of their sons became a freshman when I was a senior in Highschool and we are boys to this day. I hadn't ordered from them for a while, but having had them yesterday it's obvious that was a giant mistake and there was good reason I ordered it every week for years. The food is amazing, the people are incredible, never again will I let a bit of phone anxiety get between me and my favorite fried wontons. So if you're reading this, do yourself a favor and put down the doordash and call Double Dragon because it is perfection delivered right to your door that nothing else could ever dream to compete with.“

“Our Go to Chinese food spot in Bloomfield. When we have larger orders with family we appreciate the free chicken fingers or general tsos added to our order.

We enjoy that for combinations and other meals you can get either fried rice or lo mein.“

“Last week, my husband and I hosted a family reunion dinner for 26 people in Butterfly's banquet room. The food was really good, and the service was exceptional. Everyone ordered off the menu, and I was amazed at how quickly the kitchen made 26 entrees off that huge menu. The price was extremely reasonable for such a large gathering.

General Manager Carey Graham was wonderful to work with. He ensured that every detail was taken care of.

We started going to Butterfly more than 40 years ago, but, we did stop going for a number of years because we thought the food was not as good as it used to be and some of the servers were not very friendly. But under Carey's able management and with an entirely new staff, Butterfly is back. I would recommend Butterfly for everything from dinner for two to a full-blown banquet.“
